Daddy always keeps the toilet seats down, with the lids up. it's more aesthetically and hygenically pleasing to him that way. also the toilet paper must be rolled over, with no raggedy/half torn sheets.

As a function of anatomy, men do not fall into cold toilet water when the seat is surprisingly left up.  All that is required is a bit if civility; if a man mistakes 'up' for 'down', there are usually some paper towels and windex under the sink to clean up after himself.

Seems to me this is a long-settled issue.

My hubby has his own bathroom, but he always puts the seat down.  Just how we do things here.  Sometimes he sits when he pees, especially when he is sick.  Hes an odd one LOL.  We just always keep the seat down because I guess its just how its suppose to be LOL.  There is a lid there for a reason, if it was ment to be open all the time than it would lack the lid.  TP is always rolling from the front.  I have no qualms about a little tear off of a piece though.  We have a family oriented house, TP is an expensive comodity LOL.  Plus being a military family, we are always having military over, and tearing off a little torn piece of paper constantly adds up.  I guess Im cheap is all...  As for the whole shower thing... My kid has those bathtub crayons... Its a beautiful work of art... My bathtub walls have the colors of the rainbow all over them.  I scrub it all off when he runs out of room and we start all over again.  I do hate it though when someone uses toothpaste and smears it all over the cap... NASTY!

This question goes out to male Dominants who live with their female subs (or female subs who live with their male Dominants).

Strictly out of curiosity, at your house is the toilet seat to be left up or down? What is the expect seat position prior to being used and after being used?

Thanks for humoring me and satisfying my curiosity.

Q

One person already mentioned it but not in the venue I am to speak in.

But think on this for a moment.

Sure you could leave it up but with most modernist women they want it down and general take offense to you not doing so.

You could be a big bad Dom and leave it up saying, "Too bad."

But My dad not a Dom in BDSM sense just practical and logical and not putting up with the B.S. so I adopt this as well said put the lid down.

See turn the tables they want it down fine then they must put the lid down.

Now for my dad it meant a much warmer seat.

But in a Dom sense you still keep them happy with a dry bum and they follow your rules since you're gonnaa lift that seat up anyway if you stand. Ao kill two birds with one rule why try to force even a submissive female to put the seat up for you it's just gonna' cause strife that there's no need for more than likely.

This IMHO is your best option if you don't go a slave toilet master toilet route.

M

P.S. heck even if you don't tell them about it. Guys if we have to put it down why not make them put it up. It's a balanced equation. };>)

Brilliant. Kudos to your Sir.

Further note. If the seat is up and someone falls in because they don't look, they deserve a wet ass.

He and I don't live together, but I'm a firm believer in keeping the seat and lid down when not in use, due to those stories you read about snakes and rats coming up through the sewers and ending up in someone's toilet!

We actually had a rat come up through ours when I was little.  As scary as it is to think about sitting down on an "occupied" toilet in the dark, it's scarier to think that if something came up through there, that it had free access to just come on out and wander about!!!

Great, now I'm gonna have toilet monster dreams tonight.

I wonder how long a thread about toilet seats can go?

It amazes me the questions that get asked and how interesting they can become. I'm waiting for the "If some jerk wets a seat in a public restroom what do you do" question to show itself.
