I have met some AMAZING  people  from Cm , As far as looking, i stopped looking  and found much better results  just allowing the universe handle the seeking  .

A day.  I joined one day, met my future Owner the next for what we were hoping would be the beginning of a good friendship.  Less than a week later, I was collared by her as her slave.  She proposed to me back in March and we'll be married sometime around this time next year.

I met the Ex here.  We're now good friends, we were good friends before the relationship too.  We just weren't supposed to be in a relationship.

I'd guess I met him within about 2-3 months of joining.

Yet to find a long term relationship, and, tbh, I doubt I'll find it here, but then, I'm not really looking for it.

I only went online looking for a relationship once. I met her in real life about 2 weeks after we started chatting online. I got lucky, I offered to take her to dinner and she was hungry.

Location location location!

Living in Austin, I had a good bit of success with CM.  Living in LA, I could meet at least one new person each week.  If I was still living in Greenville, Michigan, I'd be lucky to meet a new person a year.

CM itself is a facilitator; where you live, and what sort of person you are like has a LOT more to do with your success than this site.

I  met my Sir after being on here about 3 months he fell totally outside of what I was looking for as did I for him but fate brought us together , that was over a year ago, he moved here to be with me in March.
As for finding people locally though that would have been a tough call, I have met a few best of all is Maam Jay who I met through Cm and who has beome a great friend but otherwise it is slim pickings round here

Been here about 2 1/2 years i think... i've met several people from here - the majority of them nice but i've met a couple of real "winners" too. Demographics-wise... 28-50, Dominant males in Michigan. i've become email friends with many who live different places and i get a decent share of inquiries on relocating (which isn't an option for me). i'm mostly here to chat with the friends i've made and to make a pest of myself on the boards :)

I originally joined CM 4th quarter of 2007 and was just for play partners since it was a free site. Alt, Bondage and such you can join for free but a bit limited in responding or in original contact if not a paid member. As a 50, full figure gal, lots of guys who want to play both online and in real time though primarily for me was online.
 
I met the person who is my Master on Alt and Adult FriendFinder in 2006 originally although we only became a committed M/s TPE relationship in April of this year.

I found a woman here who fixed my car once. Not kidding. She and I are still great friends, although she doesn't maintain her account anymore. She still fixes cars though.

As for relationships, I've met a few people from the site, and I'd say that you really get out of it what you put into it. If you're sincere, then meeting someone will go well (for the most part). If you're out to score, then you're probably not going to do well, unless you somehow managed to hook up with that one elusive woman on the site who is just here to score with the first guy she meets.

I've discovered it's a lot more fun to interact with other people through the boards, and if I ever get the chance to meet them, I'm overjoyed. It rarely happens, however, and there are all sorts of reasons (that whole restraining order thing and prison sentence probably works against me, but hey I was young and my god, they just leave those banks there unguarded at night!). But I'm sure you get the idea.

I've met quite a few people since joining CM.   As I'm quite new to D/s, I was hit with a barrage of e-mails.  Thankfully, there were a number of Doms and a few submissives who took me under their wings.  Not in a mentoring way, but more of a "use your God given common sense" way. 

I've had one short term R/L D/s (7-8 months) relationship with a Dominant male I met via CM; we're still really good friends.  I have numerous friendships with Doms and submissives; some I've met in RL, others may remain online friends.

While we didn't come here to find a partner, I'd say we've been looking for another for... roughly six months now, give or take - I don't remember time frames very well. So far we haven't found anyone through here but one never knows. [:)]

Edited: I have met people off CM for friendship and ended up playing with one of them. So far everyone I've met someone off CM it's been great.

I've been on and off this site for well over 5 yrs and other bdsm websites for over 10 yrs. I've deleted my profile, come back, made a new one, deleted, yada yada yada.

I've met a handful of men from this site and many from the others but never met anyone I wanted to be with until recently.

I mainly use collarme to troll for new local potential members of Desert Dominion.  I've had more than a little success at that, and also made several friends and playmates.

I will say this patience is a virtue Do not be in a hurry , there are no just add water and poof insta partner and hey its a perfect Cinderella shoe match !I waited  over two years for one very special person , then we took an extended break  aprox 1.5 years  now better and stronger than ever and enjoying  every moment .
Its so much better when your  found VS banging ones head against the wall  swimming up stream fighting and working  for encounters and chance meetings . All i am sayin is sometimes you do not have to look all that hard .They might just be  right in front of you , observe , learn , grow , experiance .

Well, Roped, since, as you know, I do make it up to the Phoenix area from time to time and do have R/L friends (including yourself) and playmates there, I am also interested in making more friends in that area as well.  And, of course all over the rest of Southern Arizona.  Much more than a couple of hundred miles though is, alas, pretty much beyond my travel capabilities at this time.

I came on looking for a play partner or relationship.... found play partners (a couple) within a month. I still see one of them semi-regularly.
