gosh- seems more extreme then Obamas.    Getting cell phone messages from god?

Try to view this w/o her as a VP candidate...  Alaska must be one odd place.

fairly normal AOG stuff. not nearly so scary as it seems if you know the lingo and rationales.

it's more about prayer and outreaching then it is literal warfare, guys.

i will admit some of the statements and actions on that video ARE extreme.  i am not that type of christian, but a christian just the same.  i do NOT believe that the Iraq War is God's plan, but i do believe in praying for the troops and governments on both sides.

Not nearly as scary as Obama's church services, at any rate.

"God Damn America" is worse....by a wide margin, made wider by it being uttered by a minister--whom one would presume understands the thrust of that statement.

Yeahhhhh...I am voting for the candidate, not their former pastors. Oh wait, crazy Sarah still goes to the talking in tongues church right? Thank whomever for freedom from religion.

People still get off on that kind of manichean stuff, a thousand years away from the Middle Ages. As if the world was black and white (pun meant) with no shades in between. It's the belief that they are the keepers of the universal truth that makes people like Palin and her ilk truly frightening: they incarnate intolerance.

No I didn't.  I also don't believe that Sarah Palin has been a member of her church anywhere near as long as Barack HUSSEIN Obama was a member of his church, the church whose pastor PREACHED "God Damn America" from the pulpit!

Thank you for the link.  It's amazing to me how people are casting verbal stones at Sarah Palin for the church she worships in, a church that follows the teaching of Jesus as they interpret the Word.  Some in our country also make fun of Baptists who shake, rattle and role in the middle of an intense sermon, are annoyed that jews do not allow men and woman to worship together (as do muslims), Mormons who don't follow the teachings of Jesus the way others teach, black churches with the singing and clapping and partying it would appear to an outsider, etc etc etc.  Bigotry is alive and well in this country when people are rediculed for their religeosity.  About the only thing I have not heard (yet) is that Sarah should be burned at the stake for being a witch!

Obviously, the Obama and his followers are confused and emotionally hysterical with fear since the nomination of Sarah Palin as VP on the republican ticket.  Attacking her religion, her church, her principles is a feeble attempt to "checkmate" the obvious disdainful sermons from the pulpit of Obama's "chosen" church of over 20 years.
I can'tbelieve Obama believed EVERYTHING his pastor Jerimah Wright uttered against our country and white people but, instead, like his followers today, Obama used his church,  it's membership strength and acquired "street cred",  as a catapult into the Chicago scene and the advancement of his politcal career after losing in his first attempt.

Lets discuss the economy, energy, national security, healthcare, and the many many of issues begging action.
God bless Sarah, John, Barack and Joe....Two of these people will be leading our country in a few months and we can use as much help as we can get.

Bah, ridicule never killed anybody. When people do ridiculous things in ridiculous circumstances, people will laugh. But nobody's telling Palin to stop: she, on the other hand, is ready to tell us to do what she does. Creationism? Do you need a certificate of imbecility to run for vice president now?

Hence this understandable reaction from rational people :-)
