This just proves the Democrats are HORRIBLE when they try to go negative.

And calling Mr Obama and his wife "uppity"?

"Uppity"?

I don`t believe he was unaware of the word`s meaning. Not by a long shot.

It's true that when it comes to being horrible and negative, the other side is way, way more experienced.

And it's on a self-described "progressive" web page. Nothing could possibly have more journalistical integrity than that...

One must wonder why this waitress didn't bring that up before this... Know what I mean?  If you hear the Gov say something like that, why would you not report it to at least the media?

Then again, I would not expect anything else from a hit piece like this.

Say, aren't you the same guy that brought up an old, unsubstantiated story about Obama and Chicago politics from a blog a few weeks ago?  Oh, right.  To paraphrase every post you've ever made about Obama (or at least my opinion of them) "Obama is the devil and McCain is always right."

It looks like Barack Obama needs new slogans because "Hope" and "Change" are now dead.

Well to be fair, "Change" was "borrowed"

What's McCain doing? This lipstick argument is fucking ridiculous. Palin started the lipstick thing, and I thought she was a pit bull and an attack dog who could withstand pretty much anything. It's obvious the pig quote has nothing to do with Palin, since she's a dog, not a pig, even Obama can see that. Where's McCain again  ? What's he up to?

A blog piece posted by me a few weeks ago? I doubt it.  I do my best to use newpapers and tv or radio newsites for my links.  When have I said McCain is always right?

Obviously, you haven't seen some of the nice things I have said about the Senator.  I even posted a couple of links talking about his good works today.... funny how you missed those.

Put the kool-aid down, you have already had enough.

So was Hope... I remember a Gov from Arkansas that used it...

Are you quite serious? You are here starting a thread about poor little crazy insulted by the boys Sarah Palin and you throw out an elitist sexist snobby bullshit comment like that? Wow what a double standard.

Know what the other side is "way more experienced" in doing? Winning the Presidency. If they pull it off after the last 8 years - incredible! Wouldn't you say? Or is it that the other side is just isn't great at picking an electable candidate?

Oh, if the Reps win this presidency, the tsunami of consternation will be high. On the other hand, why should a Democrat inherit the devastation left behind by Bush and his cohorts? I can already hear you accusing the Democratic president of being responsible for the mess Bush made. So in a way, it might not be such a bad thing if Mrs Palin and her second in command acted as a buffer zone before the next election. It might take this, however painful. But change is painful, isn't it? So all in all, we'll always be a winner  . Sorry: a winnah.

Edited, because I type too fast.

Aynne, won't you at least concede that, regardless of how old the saying is ( and it is old), Obama chose the worst moment to pull that hoary chestnut out of the rhetorical treasure chest?  The comparisons to Palin's "lipstic" riff at the RNC are almost inevitable.

The only thing worse than making a sexist/racist/[insert other form of bigotry] remark, is being made to seem as if one has made a sexist/racist/[insert other form of bigotry] remark.  The first makes on a bigot; the second makes one stupid.

What an interesting political logic.  President Bush and the Republicans were so awful in their stewardship of the Executive Branch that the only fair thing to do now is elect another Republican.

Ummm.....how is this helpful to Obama?

Wow - what a great rationalization of failure and projection of blame. You'll be a fine addition to the Democratic party when you'll eligible.

Just because you asked so nicely, yep. Of course he did, but for god's sake CL, it fits. She left herself wide open with her snarky speech and her lipstick/pitbull comment. I don't know if he meant it that way, but yes, the timing is interesting.

Better now?
p.s. Please ask Sarah to stop the soundbite about the bridge to nowhere...argh. She has been on the scene fot what two weeks? and I have heard it in my sleep already.
