Im a Dom who enjoys wearing pantiesand sometimes diapers(I dont use them I just wear them), I wear them during sceens when spanking my subs, I was always curious if it lowers my respectability in the eyes of my sub, but they would never say.

Speaking from the perspective of being around the block a few times what your wearing has nothing to do with having, obtaining, raising, or lowering respectability in the eyes of your sub or anyone else.

When I saw your post I noted to beth that once at a NYC club I saw a Dom dressed in a chicken suit using a rubber chicken on his 'sub'. It barely raised an eyebrow and the only comments I remember were wondering if he could do Florentine with two rubber chickens.

It's not something I would be comfortable with, but that doesn't mean that your sub(s) feel the same way I do.

But I'll add to what Merc said. Last Christmas Day, my Master (who hates cold weather), gave me a Christmas beating wearing one of those red plaid flannel all in one jammies (you know with the feetsies in them), and wearing His Godzilla slippers. I don't think I would enjoy it. But I also see it as more of a fetish thing than a dominant thing.

If I could be fully broken, I don't think it would matter, because I would know what they were capable of.

However, prior to that point in a relationship... it probably would lower my respect for them.

If my Dominant did that, and it was a new relationship he would not see me again. If we were together long term, perhaps I would still feel his command. However, the whole idea just squicks me. But your subs desire may vary. but you asked if it would make subs lose respect. Obviously for some of us the answer is yes. But not everyone feels this way necessarily.

This would be a big turn-off to me. It's very much a guy fetish thing (notice that all the positive replies are from malesubs). In a new relationship, this would be the end for me. In an established relationship, I don't know what would happen...likely I'd advise him to enjoy this activity alone, and seriously reevaluate our sexual compatibility.

To the OP, I have no idea what my thoughts on this would be. I am assuming that the subbies you have now have been with you for some time. If that is the case, I am sure you have established your position in the relationship regardless of your attire. If this is the beginning of the relationship, it may be that you will have to be more insistent that they discuss their feelings more openly with you, so you can evaluate this for yourself.
