Unless I am missing something, there is NOTHING to suggest in this thread that he 'zoomed in on her as a minor'. That is just people jumping to concluesions. As for all the other stuff, that too is second guessing another person instead of sticking to what we actually know and thats not helpful.
Shes 18 and? By 16 I had left home and living with someone, by 18 I was engaged to a man 5 years my senior and at 19 married for over 15 years to that man whom I consider to be one of my best friends still. So are you suggesting that my life and all I have done is a mistake? Because I sure as hell don't.
Sure, some people grow old and get jaded, but why do people have to inflict that on someone just starting out in life? Lets give out a bit of positivity for a change - at 18 she might not have age on her side, but there are a hell of enough 40+ people who don't have experience either and are probably less mature than some half their age.
Have you even read her profile? Or his? Neither strike me as negative in any way in comparrison to some you can go read and they both come across as pretty fun loving and just enjoying life.
Many people should take a leaf out of their books IMO and lighten up. I swear, if I become as negative and jaded as some of the responses people give on here, I would just give up and become a nun. And that aint going to happen anytime soon. I sometimes wonder if people even enjoy relationships and all that you can discover from them.
