Yes, it WAS a joke... the post originally started because of his guilt when I started showing signs that I was 'next'.

It has been awful for him; I spent most of the night taking care of him, and again when I came back from work. He is safely in front of the TV watching the History of Britain (disk 3) and sipping tea...
