Tell you what sanity for every 57 states theres a dozen iran-pakistan border things...you know what I'm saying....20 hour days on the campaign trail can take its toll even if your a healthy man like Obama...poor John must be dying about now..Whats the story going around..."Palin is so mad about McCains fuck-ups ....she says one more and she's dumping him from the ticket"...

cyberdude611 -> RE: Palin draws crowd of 60,000+ at Florida rally (9/21/2008 8:36:03 PM)

I also forgot to mention that Florida has Amendment 2 on the ballot....an amendment to the state constitution to ban gay marriage and civil unions.

That's going to bring out the conservative vote....

kittinSol -> RE: Palin draws crowd of 60,000+ at Florida rally (9/21/2008 8:45:00 PM)

Newsflash! The conservative old farts you mention who give a fuck about gay marriage and think it shouldn't be allowed are a dying breed [:)] . Pray for their souls and blah blah blah.

Yes, of course.  It's not like there's anything more important to worry about at the moment.

Sarah Palin held a rally north of Orlando and drew a crowd of 60,000+ people according to the fire chief. The convention center held 25,000 people and it was filled to standing room only. Officials say there were at least twice that many people outside watching on the big screens.

I dont care what the polls say....Democrats have a big fight on their hands.

This election is going to destroy turnout records....

I think this one sentence from your link says it all.  Just like Jr. they are only going to expose her to adoring crowds to the extent possible.

"The Villages, a vast, upscale planned community north of Orlando, has about 70,000 mostly adult residents -- many of them military retirees -- who vote reliably Republican in statewide races."

Right-wingers are motivated by fear:

"Their research, published in the journal Science, indicates that people who are sensitive to fear or threat are likely to support a right wing agenda.
Those who perceived less danger in a series of images and sounds were more inclined to support liberal policies."

Yes, and such an important issue too!

Fuck that economy thing.  Wars are wars, who cares?  Osama who?

The important issues we need to focus on are flag-burning, gay marriage, and whether God created the Earth last Saturday.

If you see the pictures of the crowds.....there are people of all ages there....

That is a good thing, no matter which candidate is elected.  The more that people get involved, the less we will act like sheep.

Seems to me, that it's the left side of the political equation that is going balls-to-the-wall in an attempt to discredit Palin.

That's a pretty good indication of fear to me.

I would add bitterness, spitefulness and being resentful to that which is why they want to control what people do in their bedroom, what they think and why they want to condemn them to the same moribund perception of reality they have condemned themselves to.

Because, as the republicans have shown us, the only appropriate place for gay sex is in the bathroom of an airport in MN.

How can anyone discredit someone who has no credit whatsoever? Palin's just a show-girl.

No, just doing what all political campaigns do, attack the opponent's weakness.

It's just too funny with McCain that he created his own biggest weakness.

For every action, there is an equal, but opposite, reaction.

*sigh*

rule, you are simply seeing things from your own perspective. Nothing wrong with that, but you are missing what is really going on.

The more that the "Obamanites" and his supporters on the left attempt to damage Palin, the more that they are cementing her charm and voter-appeal to the right and many people from the middle.

You see it as a "weakness". I see it as a brilliant political move.

November will help sort it out, and I'm willing to wait.

I do miss a lot of things.

But my quest to become the Vice-President in 2012 leaves me with so little time.

I'm working hard on my foreign policy experience.

Did you know there is an island in Lake Erie that you can actually see Canada from?

A friend sent me pics of the Anti-Palin rally in Anchorage. 1400 people. In Alaska, that's huuuuge
