America spans many miles. There is variations of places, so no I would not move. I do think PA, like a dozen other states should evaluate the pluses and minuses for being a part of the USA. Namely due to UN, NAFTA,GATT, CAFTA, WTO, the surrender of US soveirnty to people who are not people I see in the grocery store. Mike- this is a great question. You see- a big shopping center is opening up October 8th. The cost of living near "shopping" has increased. I constantly look around to see if I could better my life by moving from here. I talked to the realtor per the Bloom property. She said the trouble is one has no way to know the condition of the septic system....I was thinking, 45K, and I would not know if I had septic. hmmm...why not go wild then and get a shack...since the 45k will be a shack. As we speak- Im not at my family reunion is Florida. Mom called and said it was BEAUTIFULLLLL there. I asked, what kind of house can you get for 50k? Her reply. "it is beautiful down here". But she is in a pricey area where my brother is renting a house only for the summer... the summer rate is $2400.00. so- it should be beautiful for that. I have concluded the eastern PA is too close to New Jersey. That means it is either pricey, or urban problems. So western PA might work. I seen house in eastern Ohio, that were cheap.... central PA has crept up in costs. It is like homes now cost 2x what they did 15 years ago. Thats even with the mortgage mess. Ild like to live where time has been turned back some. That the costs are low- the folks are decent. Ohio- seems to have cheaper housing... but I dont think I would want to lose PA residency. I guess Oklahoma is cheap. The summers sound to hot. Pics of Montana and that region to be lovely. If I thought that civil unrest was out of control in the US, then maybe I would leave tho.
