Its just this way...like...the half whisper like shes your high school guidance lady.  And the constant referal to Joe Six pack...and of course her assumption that the American people want straight talk...and that the only corruption is on Wall Street, or that the only ones who fear are Soccer moms.....She uses sterotypes to try and get in touch with people that she doesnt understand.  I find it demeaning.
