My own humble theory that has no basis in fact..Is that our very thoughts create reality. There is a branching with each thought, and a new reality a new universe is made from each thought.

Certain experiments as of late, may indicate that there is some basis in fact to your theory.

I believe it was julieoceana that posted the Nova segment on this a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

By the way in my universe there is a God... But in others there is only oblivion.... I feel sorry for them.

Butch

Oblivion contains an unending peace, which hell hath never considered.

There is this quantum theory that every particle that moves causes the movement of a particle on the other side of the universe that it was once attached. Considering we were all at one time connected and our thoughts can be seen as particle arrangements we each have an influence on one another when our thoughts change.

There is the how question and there is the why question, it's important people don't try to answer the wrong one with science and the wrong one with faith.

Hey here is an idea just for fun... let each poster state there personal theory of the nature of the universe as I did in my post above.

What do you think is the ultimate truth.

Your theory will certainly provide insight into your personality.

Nothing new about the new thought movement.
Christian science, Unity, Religious Science. There is Some basis in fact  for out thought creating reality, but not to the extent that its given credit for. i certainly cant believe that someone attracted a rapist to them because of their own negative inward thoughts. I was involved with the science of mind. his was my sticking point.

I believe it is in part a physical demonstration of the aspects of the Danish 'many worlds' theory.

In fact you don't really exist either because I can't prove you exist therefore you don't.

If teachers were able to present creationisim without editorialising, it is a belief many people have but, there would be no way to
keep thier opinions either way out of it. Science is seen as black or white belief isn't.

Having flunked ninth grade latin at the top of my class, I can say with a smug uncertainty that 'Coito'  would be the singular male possesive, and at best could only include a blowup doll, and let me think this theory thru.....but a sheep could be included barring any evidence to the contrary.

not, to coit would have have to be coitus (somewhat of a inclusive effort requiring more than one).

So in effect, he said:

Fuck, I am.

I think there is a very real possibility that thought creates reality.

Creationism is all very cute anyway, but I wonder why god, an omniscient, eternal life force, would have bothered creating anything in the first place.

You better not let god catch you thinking like that, Butch.
