Oh another thread, we've started talking about the delicious delicacy that is the doughnut. So, I ask...

Of the world of doughnuts, I choose the sour cream as my favorite, glazed or not. The crispy outer shell, the puffy, creamy interior reminiscent of pate choux....yes, a fine bit of pastry goodness.

I can't eat them any more. :-(

But, back when they played an important role in my late night/early morning diet (when I worked night shifts), I liked the Boston creme filled kind with either maple or chocolate glazing.
But never a Krispy Kreme. Those are just plain nasty.

LeMis...don't get me started on the powdered donuts, especially the mini ones! I used to but 2 doz at a time and eat them all in one sitting. Damn they are too addictive.

if you can call it a donut in any way, it is my favorite ! but if I had to pick just one... the glazed ones from krispy kreme as soon as they are done at like 3 in the morning. in the words of homer simpson ....." darkness no well work with out donuts "

i'll hafta agree with Greedy. RIGHT NOW Hot and fresh Krispy Kreme donuts... preferably chocolate glazed, or any of the cream-filled kind, but any donut is a good donut, lol.

i've yet to try the ellusive sour cream donut, though.

Krispy Kreme, right off the line, melt in your mouth, mmmmmmmmmm.

I'm also partial to maple creme sticks. I hate jelly donuts, though, ick.
