What you seem to think is a healthy debate appears to me as angry and confrontational. And I don't do that, nor do I let others do that to me. If your tone comes across as attacking, even if you didn't mean it to be, then expect others not to engage with you. One of the reasons I identify as submissive is because I don't like power struggles. And a debate is by definition a power struggle. So why should I willingly do something unpleasant like that?

I hate it when people who do not agree with me feel that they need to brow-beat me with their opinions that they feel is law for everyone. I don't have to agree with anyone, they don't have to agree with me. I also do not have to justify any of my beliefs or opinions to anyone. I will not engage in a shitfest, just because. However, if the topic is something I am extremely passionate about, well... all I have to say is refer to Line 2 of my signature, because it will be "on," and I will stand toe to toe with anyone. (wee typo)
