I got sore playing Diablo, couldn't leave it alone. A rare game where the voice acting was only just too hammy and great ambient audio. How did they get those small graphics to look so good? Hopefully remarks about Diablo 2 wiill have been taken on board for the new  game. I'm already feeling itchy for gold, potions, armour and weapons.

Ohh, let's see. I have played Neverwinter Nights, Ultima Online, Everquest, Everquest2, WoW, Tanarus Online, Ragnarok Online, SWG, Anarchy Online, and Final Fantasy.

We are FFers... I never got into WoW - the people seemed to suck mostly.  FF has a better online 'community'.

I'm a bit slow off the mark with Final Fantasy. Just got FFX2 for the PS2. Will give it a sensible amount of time.

WoW so totally sucked; there is no other way to describe it. I had a blast with FF though, and yes, the online community rocked; much like when EQ FIRST came out. The one I really miss playing though is Tanarus...that game rocked.

The D3 demo looked pretty good. But I heard the barbarian is the only class they retained. All the others will be new.

Eve-Online is a pretty good game. It actually has the best economy system that I have seen for any online game out there. Also has a pretty advance corporation (guild) system. They have a new expansion coming out in the future that will have the ability to rent and setup your own ship inside space stations. People will be able to leave their ship and walk to your shops to hang out or to buy your goods. Whole new social aspect for the game. Can't wait for that.

Also Cryptic (The company that made City of Heroes/Villians) just acquired the rights for Star Trek online. They are expecting a release date within the next 3 years. It will be a pretty fast turn around as they are building on top of an exisiting game engine.

Speaking of economy in games, I always liked the old Ascaron games (Port royale, Patrician). Pity they were discontinued.

What's FF?

(sits there, mouth agap, realizes "FF" could stand for "Final Fight" as well as "Final Fantasy" and gets mildly confused)

Woo gamers.

I've just broken myself free of 4 years of EQ2, before that I was deeply in love with SWG (pre NGE. *shakes fist at Sony*)
I tried Spore for a bit and apart from the creature creator, i found it sort of "meh." I'm currently trying my hand at Sins of a Solar Empire which is prety stunning.

I'm waiting with baited breath for that rumored KoTOR MMO...

Total gamer here.  I'm so happy to see all you others, too! Yay!
Xbox 360 mostly -- total Halo freak, I like FPS, and just recently finished my first run-through on Too Human.
Puzzle Pirates is my PC fave.

Just need to find me a guy who appreciates this interest...

Couldn't have tried Spore to long - it hasn't been out very long.

Halo ROCKS!  We are the proud owners in our household of not one but two masterchief limited edition heads and a blue light up cortana.  Oh good god... I am sad.

But I am itching for Halo Wars...

I am just surprised you haven't met a man to share gaming with.  I usually find the complaint is in reverse!

You're right, I think it was about a week before I thought "wow, this is sort of boring and repetative."
