Oooooooh... DOUBLE win for me.

Whites would go well with that whole vanilla thing I have going on AND cricket clothes would definitely be alternative here in the US.  In theory, I get to have my cake and eat it too.  But I like to believe that I can learn from my mistakes.  So before I commit to anything, does anyone happen to know if cricket clothes are cool in the US?

Hey wait! That just spawned a BRILLIANT idea!  With hoards of vanilla people invading the BDSM realm and making it progressively less cool and edgy, if I just hang tight long enough, presumably I'll end up being hte cool and edgy one because I like it missionary style.  Oh man, I am SUCH a trendsetter.

It can't be cool.  I'm here.

That was my first thought.  There's nothing cool about anything I do.  Dorky's where its at for me.

And better kink.  Seriously.  Nothing good happens in a closet.

Hmmm... well, somethings do.  Just depends on how big the closet is.

OP - I don't think the real Sly Stone (as in Sly and the Family Stone) would be asking if something was "cool" or not.  He'd just be doing his own thing and thank us for letting him be himself...,. again.

Oh, here is a little hint. Take a private survey of subs and ask what is in there medicine cabinets past and present.  You will probably find that a lot subs (as well as sex offenders)  were taking a very specific family of drugs just prior or during the time they were involved or got hooked on kink.  If you ask them how they got it you will also find that the majority were prescribed by doctors without any follow up by there doctors on the effects or for that mater prescribed without the patient being told of the side effects of the drug and that changes in desires might have been a side effect and also that research shows that BDSM activities have a similar effect as these families of drugs. Because these drugs were givin out like candy during the late 80’s on… it is also marked by a huge increases in public acceptance of kink…LOL

Submissives are chemically created?  Seriously, you'll have to provide some level of science to back this one up.  Sounds far fetched to me.

Got any links?

Ok, the only thing that comes to mind is ....WTF?   This is a new one on me.  So, most "submissives" were created from medication side-effects?  Hmm....  that's one potentially interesting class-action suit.

Yeah, no joke Winsome.  I'm scratching my head trying to figure out where all the kink and D/s stuff came from prior to the 80's.  I had kind of understood it'd been around... well... for somewhere between a few tens of thousands of years and a few billion years depending on how you want to count.  Maybe all the previous ones were posers and fakes?

So drugs create submissives and sex offenders?  Okay, I started having sex in 1976, and there were no drugs in my medicine cabinet or my body, doctor-prescribed or not.  I believe the first time I uttered the phrase "make it hurt" was 1977 or perhaps 1978.  Nope, still no funny drugs.

Hey, what drugs did I miss out on???

There, I answered your not-so-private survey.

Perhaps then you're not a true sub Cali since you didn't take the magic pills.  Are you absolute sure that you're not just faking it?

I was recently prescribed a medication that I will need to take for the rest of my life.  The doctor did tell me that a potential side effect was 'compulsive behaviors like gambling or sex''.  Both R. and S. have offered to 'help' me should I begin to suffer the second compulsion---I was overwhelmed with their willingness to make such sacrifices...........

Not to worry, "they" were slipped into whatever you were drinking.
Feel better now that you know that there really is better living through chemistry?
