Yes thank you.
Didn't mean harm, but tried to show explainations (from a science point of view) why people act so voilent towards the jewish people.
And science is about facts and therefor might sound cold.
I myself don't feel numb when discussing this issue. It is touching and interesting, because the same is still happening in the world.

Well..I can be a little direct sometimes.....and this is indeed a very sensitive subject.

I live near Westerbork in The Netherlands...this was last station to Auschwitz in the Netherlands (Anne Frank past this station, it was transit camp).

I think every school kid goes there. That is why I got interested about the subject. How can people hate people they don't even know.
That is why I posted the "harsh" list with possible explanations, that science came with.

Wel it is a good thing we all agree it was bad that happened.

Wow 6 pages of a thread trying to label just what political ideology the Nazi's can best be identified with....Slaveboy got it right a few pages ago...thugs ,hoodlums and criminals do not subscribe to any ideology other than expedience.Trying to place a political label on this criminal hierarchy does a disservice to whatever political stripe you land on.
Then to top off the whole thread we had a poster supply us with the scientific reasons for anti semitism.Anti-semitism needs no scientific reason,ignorance and fear can not and will not be quantified by scientific means.Bigotry and racism need not and should not be legitimized by an attempt to quantify or justify thru scientific methods what is pure and simply hate.
