ORIGINAL: Rever I don't have very good social skills, but that has to do with a medical condition I have called Asperger syndrome also I am a very shy and timid person to begin with. Yeah, its makes it really hard for me to get into conversations esp with Women. That Kinda explains why I probably have a hard time getting into relationships I'm sure it feels unnatural but for you it takes practice. Perhaps you were coached what to say when from your mom as I do with my 10 year old boy with aspergers. he also is taught in a social group. Perhaps if you had these types of help, you can refer back to it when trying to be social. Smile, Look people in the eye, dont just talk endlessly, let them speak and look for common ground. Are they looking at you intently as you speak or looking around? if they are leave them alone. There are many happy and in love and married people with aspergers syndrome. Not being Neurotypical is not the worse thing in the world. You are just different. Yeah, Finding common ground and starting the conversation is the hardest, as well my vice can be monotoned, esp when talking to someone I don't know, i'm also very reluctant to open up to someone I don't know, because I afraid of offending them and blowing away my chances. Again, i think some times women get the wrong message from me because of it, or they think I just want sex from them. ON and other dating site, here I spend about 30 minutes to an hour(this include picking apart there profile) trying to figure out what to say to a a Women I am interested in, and end up with two sentences, it mite be easier for me if their wont so many pesky do-me men on these sites><
