What has made your eyes roll today?

Did you all know that insurance companies in 9 states PLUS Washington DC also claim domestic violence as a "pre-existing condition"?

That shit makes my eyes roll.  It also makes me want to put heads on spikes!

Ummmm... doesn't THAT count as domestic violence?

porcelaine -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 4:34:47 PM)

sometimes you can't bother rolling them. you're too dumbfounded and the only thing that suffices is a serious wtf instead. i was doing so good today. sheesh.

Not if I do it in public and NOT in a domicile.

I wonder if they think that imported violence is better.

I turn down a male submissive who sent me his life story and I sign off with 'cheerio'.

About half an hour later I receive another mail from the same submissive headed 'Dear Mistress Cheerio' asking me to reconsider.

I give up, I really do.

today was the worst day in my history of these forums.

Brief hijack:

Tammy,
It is easy to care about the group of folks here but when it becomes emotionally distressing or when you get sucked into the various dramas, it is ok to disengage for awhile.
Find something enjoyable to do.
We will likely all be here when you come back.

Hijack over

im pretty sure that if i went away and came back it would still be the cold shoulder from most and the few that have express their love to me here would continue, and the ones who decide to do it on the other side. but frankly i think that the forums are wasting away my brain cells, and its about time i get back into college and go for the law degree ive been wanting.   hugs in fact super major hugs love ya t

FR:

I second the wise words of angelikaJ. For anyone who has found themselves becoming too wrapped up in the whatever of whomever at any given time, it's time for a recess. I've done it a few times and found it quite therapeutic. If anyone is worrying too much over thread content, and I DON'T mean bed sheets or linens, it's time to breathe deeply and press the reset button.

Kalista07 -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 7:40:21 PM)

i have two questions............

1.  what the  hell does thread count mean???  [re: linen, sheets, towels, etc]

2. i'm in what some might call 'diabetic denial'....Does it make sense to anyone when we would engage in 'sexual relations' i would have some difficulty??

Kali

Daddysredhead -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 7:43:41 PM)

I don't know what thread count really means, but I know that the higher the thread count, the softer the sheets.

I don't know what diabetic denial is because it sounds sad and I refuse to allow myself to think of such things. I do, however, know what sexual relations are... and for that, I may need to demonstrate on you. *whistles innocuously*

Thread count is a measure of the coarseness or fineness of fabric, and is also known as the number of threads per inch or TPI. It is measured by counting the number of threads contained in one square inch of fabric or one square centimeter, including both the length (warp) and width (weft) threads. It is important to see that thread count is the number of threads counted along two sides (up and across), added together.

Use lube?  I actually do not know what effects diabetes has on females and making whoopie.

fluffypet61 -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 7:48:59 PM)

Thread count is most often applied to beds sheets.

Thread count refers to the number of threads, both vertical and horizontal, in a one-inch square of fabric.

Using finer threads allows for more thread to fit in a square inch. Finer thread often results in smoother, softer fabrics, part of the reason high thread count fabrics are considered more desirable than fabrics with a low thread count.

Kali, what do you mean by "diabetic denial"?

impishlilhellcat -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 8:15:17 PM)

Some people just don't know when to let it go seriously HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO BEAT A DEAD HORSE AND WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO IT IN TWO OR THREE DIFFERENT threads. I may have been a supporter before all this shit, but seriously this is out of hand and it's on my damn nerve. Grow up!

Daddysredhead -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 8:16:54 PM)

[sm=beatdeadhorse.gif] <------- You mean this horse?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/15/2009 8:18:02 PM)

Okay, my eyes are on perma-roll.  Srsly.

Should I have cocoa, ice water, or a pear?  Odd options, I know, but I ate three of those Lindt dark truffle balls, and I need a chaser.  I am positive it will make me feel better, and of course, still more grateful to have MY life and not someone else's.
