ORIGINAL: lronitulstahp my cell phone, the one i paid insurance on for over a year and a half, broke. The style of phone is obsolete. The insurance only covers $30. i had to spend $160 on a new one...because the replacement from the insurance company would have less features than the expensive one i bought in the first place...all my numbers, texts, and pics are lost.... After explaining what a waste of time the insurance is, they ask me if i want insurance on the new phone[8|]. Darlin, who is your carrier? Most carriers will give you a hardware upgrade credit, at the very least evey two years,, which means any and all sales prices including free phones your eligable for. if your not fully available yet they still have a discount price equal to the lenght of time till your new contract date. Mind you the main the reason they do that is to get that new contract, but if your happy with your service that shouldnt matter to much
