This landed in my inbox:  "can u put my number somewhere nice baby?"

My reply:  "My name's not baby, and I don't think you'd like where your number would land."  [8|]

this quote:

How can you spend hundreds of millions of dollars on contraceptives?” . “How does that stimulate the economy?”

-John Boehner

i never get the "no contraceptives, no abortions, but better not expect us to help you take care if the babies we force you to bring into the world", stance.[8|]

my ex husband made my eyes roll yet again by calling me and asking if he could take the one child i am legally entitled to claim as a deduction, since i supposedly don't have enough taxable income to have it make a difference, and he'd split the money with me.  when he talks money i always get the simultaneous eye roll and red flags.
PM

I know what you mean PM.  Last year, my mother claimed me, and took my stimulus money.  she sent me a check for $100.

There was some eye rolling.  And some yelling.

I just wanna roll my eyes at my stupid dog.  I grabbed a few groceries, sat them on the porch so I could open the door and drag stuff in little by little.  Stupid dog decided to tear into the bag of sugar and box of tampons.  Stupid dog has a sugar high and a tampon in her mouth, running around the yard.  Stupid dog wants to be sent to live with a new family me thinks.[8|]

I wake up sick this morning & come to the boards to catch up & I read this, burst out laughing loud enough to startle my dog & now I have this image in my brain!!!!!

Ohh Ohh my eyes just this second reading a profile from a girl saying she was born in 1981 then claiming to be 24. You would think they would at least do their homework

Naberius -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (1/26/2009 12:12:07 PM)

I had a police officer friend tell me via phone that his son (10 years old) was charged for assault due to a SNOW BALL FIGHT...WTF, kids can't be kids anymore? Needless to say my friend is strongly thinking about no longer wearing a badge after this b.s.

My sister still has a dimple-scar on her cheekbone from a snowball thrown by a young boy in the 50's.  There was never any talk of assault charges, the boy got a talking-to by our parents & by his & that was the end of the incident as far as I know.  I think that it's mandatory to have snow ball fights when there is enough snow on the ground.

Also during the 50's we lived across the street from a boy & a girl close to our ages.  We were all best friends & played together well, until the plums on the tree got ripe.  Then we would start talkin bad about each other & our respective parentages so that by the time the plums were rotten on the ground, we could have rotten plum fights, firing them across the street at each other.  More than once, one of us ran inside crying from getting hit with a pit, but our parents just rolled their eyes & we went back at it.  As soon as the plums were all gone, we were best friends again!!!

Aaaaaah, how times have changed!!!

NY! new report

Mt Sani Hospital last

600 Patients had to be moved  because of a fire caused by a pile of cigarette butts piled up in a mechanical room.

okay I smoke but WTF, not at a hospital, I will either not, or walk until I am no longer on hospital property then pick My butt up make sure its out,  by beating it to death or checking with my finger.and dispose of it in the trash.

Thats an employees only room....can we said there better have been some firing going in human resourses?

Hells bells if I am even around a non smoker, I will take thee as far from them so as not to intrude my habit on them.

Heh - can I be 24? It's not that much younger, but it'd be a good start on the "rolling back the years!" process!!!

lronitulstahp -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (1/26/2009 3:16:21 PM)

my cell phone, the one i paid insurance on for over a year and a half, broke. The style of phone is obsolete.
The insurance only covers $30.
i had to spend $160 on a new one...because the replacement from the insurance company would have less features than the expensive one i bought in the first place...all my numbers, texts, and pics are lost....
After explaining what a waste of time the insurance is, they ask me if i want insurance on the new phone[8|].

CalifChick -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (1/26/2009 3:20:36 PM)

You can't use the old sim card in the new phone?  Bummer.  Off to send you my phone number on the other side.
