Shining some bright lights on the filth...

Family says mentally challenged man's McCain vote stolen for Obama

Obama supporter beats female McCain demonstrator in the face with a stick

Florida school-girl called a "racist" for wearing McCain/Palin tshirt

K.

Has Obama (or any dem) inspired and egged on the crowd to violence and hate speech, the way McCain and Palin have?

Nope.

According to a report in this week's Time magazine, the Virginia party chairman, Del. Jeffrey M. Frederick (R-Prince William), told Virginia volunteers working for GOP nominee John McCain that Obama and bin Laden "both have friends that bombed the Pentagon."

That is the feed of psychopaths and the cons are handing it out freely.

And more and more good men (on the GOP side)are standing up and saying no!

Shame on John McCain.Shame on Sarah Palin.

Wow, Bita - I'm surprised that you linked to this

quote:

Unnerved by a tough question from a 7-year old about whether or not war is ever justified, Obama struggled to come up with an answer. Finally, he allowed that he would probably have supported World War II, reluctantly. "After the Germans dropped The Bomb on Pearl Harbor, President Truman really didn't have much choice but to declare war," said the Senator.

BitaTruble -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/19/2008 9:11:04 AM)

Why are you surprised?

ncprincess -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/19/2008 10:04:10 AM)

McCain voted for the bailout as well. Does this mean you just won't vote for either one?

popeye1250 -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/19/2008 11:39:24 AM)

MzMia, with me anyway it has nothing to do with race.
It has everything to do with the fact that this guy is a Global Socialist and a liberal.
I don't like Republicans but I *really* don't like Democrats, liberals and Socialists.
This is no time to put one of them in office in the W.H. , Congress or Senate while Al Qeada is at war with us!
If Obama said he'd close that Mexican border, deport all illegal aliens, end all foreign aid, get us out of "Nafta", and "get Bin Laden and al qeada" then I'd vote for him in a New York minute!
He also has a somewhat spotty background.
As I said before I'd vote for that crazy sum bitch Al Sharpton, you *know* al qeada wouldn't fuck with us with him in office!
In times like this we need a "tough" president in office and Obama isn't even close to being "tough."
Was he on the fencing team at Harvard?

Musicmystery -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/19/2008 12:01:07 PM)

So "shoot from the hip" McCain will be better how?

The bulk of his policies came two days after Obama announced his, each time with McCain moving closer to Obama.

Yelling "maverick" isnt' the same as leadership, and it certainly doesn't solve problems.

TabrisMaceth -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/19/2008 1:52:30 PM)

Once again, I'm late, but...okay, anyone else remember when corysub said something to the effect of 90% of African American had been bought off- althought it was said in a way that really sounded more...slavery-esque- by the Democratic Party? Anyone else find that just a teeny bit racist sounding?
Also...I really have to say this...if you use the word "socialist", you're a huge fucking moron and I hope you never have children. What the fuck is a "socialist"?! Can you answer me that?! There are all these spinal pansy motherfuckers who are too cowardly to just grow a pair and scream a racial slur, so they say a big word that they don't know. Can't say "Communist" because this isn't the 1950s, "terrorist" is pretty out of fashion too, so they say "socialist", not realizing that the root word is "social" and to be anti-socialist would logically make you anti-social. Y'know, like a sociopath! Serial killers and whatnot!
So, what the fuck is socialism? I actually looked it up:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialism

...No one's actually gonna read that, are they?

Why do we only have globalists to choose from?   Why is it necessary to "manage" every thing, every person, every jurisdiction?

Globalism takes from national sovereignty.   Look at how states rights is a joke!    Most the world would be just fine, if we did not "manage" them.   You never know the amount of talent and inventions that might have happened, had the big brass not sued and stopped any threat to its P and L statement.

You see, as peons we can excel.  That is up to a point.  Get too big and the powers knock you down.

MzMia:

While I respect your theory on racisim in this country, I must share that mine is a bit different than your theory.
Being raised in the deep south during segration in the 1960's, there is one word I detest with all my heart and soul.  We saw it here the other night, and it made me very sick.
In the 1980's, I was engaged to an African American male who was the love of my life.  My grandfather told me if I ever married a black male, he would kill him.  I was petrified.
I left home.   I left the state.
That is why I am so opinionated when it comes to racial comments and slurs.  Forgive me if I never get used to it.  It needs to change.  I hope President Obama will make that happen.
I am voting for him because he is pleasant and educated.  He came from poverty and has made something of himself.
The rest of the white all American male poplulation just cannot handle that, and they will be miserable for eight years.  Then they will be miserable eight more years when we put our first female in the White House.

Regards, MissSCD

OF course it NEEDS to change, I was stating that for many people it will not change.
I hope President Obama will make that happen.
That is a very tall order, he would certainly be the first person in history able to change entrenched
racism and racist beliefs.

Thank you for your comments as always MissSCD.
I certainly did not write this OP to say that racial slurs, taunts, hatespeech, etc. was okay.
I wrote this post to say that we should fully EXPECT it, and not let it raise our blood pressure
or diminsh our joy!
Great post!

This is shocking and scandalous.

Imagine a 12 year-old campaign worker (WTF ?????) actually facing harassment from her sixth-grade classmates.

This only shows the level to which we haved stooped as a society.

To think that 12-year olds are so emotionally immature that they cannot have reasonable political disagreements without resorting to unfounded accusations is truly an indictment of Democrats and our country in general.

Popeye, you really do like Al Sharpton, don't you?
The problem is,  most people are not going to elect someone like him, no matter

what race they are.
I know you don't like either party, but go ahead and vote for Senator Obama.
You will like the way you feel afterwards.

I `ll vote for the one that didn`t run around like a chicken w/ it`s head cut off.

The one that didn`t pretend to suspend his campaign to fly to DC and meddle.

I`m voting for the guy that stayed cool and didn`t spout off about who he`d fire or blame for the mess.

I`m voting for the guy who`s campaign manager hasn`t lobbied an behalf of Fanny Mea/Freddy Mack to lower their regulations and rules, for the last two years.

I`m voting for the guy who will save Social Security and not hand it over to Wall Street con men.

I`m voting for the guy who end the Iraq debacle sooner, then later.

I`m voting for the guy who`ll get bin laden.

Tabris, Obama is a "Global Socialist."
He wants to, "double foreign aid" to the detriment of the poor in this country.
That would be about $68.8 billion Taxpayer dollars per year that could be helping our own people.
Foreign aid is not something that I and most other Americans want our govt. doing.
Senator Chris Dodd (D. Conn) admitted that, "99 % of Americans are against foreign aid."
We elect people to run our govt. not to be running a charity for foreign countries with *our* money.
On the other hand I have no problem with National Healthcare; it's not "socialized medicine" if we're paying for it through our taxes.
I realize that our govt. may have to have dealings with foreign countries but those dealings should be kept to an absolute minimum.
I want my president whoever he or she may be focused on the U.S. 100%.

MzMia -> RE: Senator Obama /President Obama! Expecting the never-ending racial attacks! (10/26/2008 7:29:00 AM)

Did I mention the never-ending conversations about race and
racial threads on the message boards?
One thing that all the "chat" and talk DOES prove, racism is certainly
very prevalent and is certainly an issue in the world.
Yeah, racism exists and it is still a big factor and issue in the world, as
much as many say and wish it was NOT an issue.
[;)]
I wish for many things, but that does not change the facts or realities in life.
I wish there was no poverty in the world, I wish racism did not exist, I wish there were no
wars, I wish we had a cure for cancer, I wish millions of things, but guess what?

Wishes and hopes just are not enough to "change" reality.
If wishes were horses we all would ride.
Where is my horse?

To the OP, i think America has grown far past the days of segregation.  i don't think racial hatred will increase--if anything it will shine a very bright spolight on the groups who hate.

However, i'm not voting for Obama because he wants to turn the US into the UK.  He's for bigger government and more government control.  If you think that's a good thing, ask some of our UK and Canadian members about the joys of socialized medicine, and having some basic freedoms curtailed.  Don't get me wrong, our system's broke too.  But ultimately that guy is offering us a trade--our basic freedoms for a short term fix for our economy.
