You're right.

I think we should require all future Presidential candidates to have previous experience in running a country.

Of course, this might tend to limit the pool of available applicants.

Except the support of the majority of voters.

Voters actually entitled to decide this sort of thing, even if through the Electoral College.

We call it the Constitution. Perhaps you've heard of it.

It protects the rights of the gullible masses against you few who know better.

Sure, dictatorships would be far more efficient, but for some reason, the Founding Fathers frowned on that.

Maybe you could start a Constitutional Amendment?
