Status: offline 		I dumped my dom today he was full of shit and not the good kind . I ask for no lies and time to build trust and I get jearked off . I had enfough now I am free to start looking again . I will not be verry easy to open up again to allow my self to be hurt. Is this a odd place for a submissive to make a stand ????? Still learning the ropes . Any input Is great .

Why should it be odd for you to stand up.  Value yourself and say you deserve better?  That is a very good trait to have.  More people need to feel that way.
It may take you a while to find a decent new dom but don't get too disappointed.  It took all of us a lot of time.  Much more than we wanted to spend.  In the end I know it was worth the time and effort it took me to find the right one.  I'm sure in the end it will be the same for you.

Status: offline 		Just think of every relationship as a learning experience. I looked at alot of doms until I found one that met my needs and didn't conflict with my school ambition. Now you know what you don't want in a relationship and that's a good thing.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience and a big Canadian bearhugz. Yea it's tough trying to find that one Dom who is quite compatible with us and vice versa. There are days when I doubt I'll find a decent man for a relationship. let along one who is willing and able to to understand my need to submit. I just keep forcing myself to saty positive that it'll happen even if it doesn't immediately!

Status: offline 		It will take some time to heal from this breakup. Though there will come a point where the need for the D/s dynamic will reassert itself more and more! It's been a good eighteen months since I removed my collar and left my Sir at that time and it's only been in the past 5-6 months that my own needs for WIITWD has been growing more and more! I took a good year to reevaluate what I actually wanted in this and how I will go about incorporating the D/s into my vanilla life.

Status: offline 		Do not let this experience cloud your vision.  Like was said before every relationship is a learning experience.  I have had bad relationships and almost let them get me down, until I realize my doing that give the person power over the rest of my life. I agree that trust does have to be earned no matter what relationship experiences you have had, good or bad.  Do not let one bad experience close you off from a relationship that may be fabulous.
