i agree 100% with this! For me, it also had to do with wanting to explore and experience the sexual aspect of myself which had been so discouraged in my upbringing - and finally giving myself permission...HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO it's a direct result of what we're taught, whats ingrained in us from birth. We are taught through people around us and different media that we are not suppose to enjoy certain things, we are suppose to act a certain way. At least for women my age and older, it is getting better for younger women. There are exceptions to this of course and most women who frequent this site have gotten over these hurdles lol
I'm very open about sex, not much if anything disgust me anymore and I have no issue asking about something I may be curious about or want to try. Of using the proper decorum concerning the surroundings. I also had no problem doing whatever I was told to do in public luckily common sense was used lol

I dont think it is appropriate to discuss my sex life where others could overhear. And although I'm kinky, that's not the be-all and end-all about me. And yes I would be disgusted if that's the only thing a man wanted to talk about.

Why does it matter how many kinky women there are? You presumably are looking for only one, although the way you worded the op it sounds as though that's all you want from a woman, NSA.

New bulletin: We're people, how we like our sex doesn't change the fact that we require full relationships. Why not look for someone compatible and explain in an adult manner what you prefer sexually? The worst they can say is no, which I get the feeling they're doing anyway for other reasons. Perversion is not gender specific. I am a permavert. But I won't be discussing my kinks while in line at the grocery store, or at the library. I would rather not get arrested and have to register as a sex offender because I wanted to get frisky and show my boobs or get groped in a public setting. I'm not going to openly share my love of rope to co-workers on my smoke break. It's no ones damn business whether or not I enjoy being tied up and beaten. Just like I REALLY didn't want to hear about how the super pierced guy sitting behind us at the bar last night enjoys getting peed on by his girlfriend. Not my concern, thank you for sharing though.

Now, when discussing such things with close friends, or with Daddy, that is another thing altogether. But some of what my parents rammed into my wee brain stuck, like manners. I've always been pretty open about my sexuality, for as long as I can remember. I think it was to be a direct contrast to the hush-hush upbringing I had. I don't talk about it to those who don't seem as "open" as I am, but if someone cracks the door in a conversation, I'm all in. I don't hide it. I'm a sexual person and I have zero problem with talking about "that which we dare not speak."

I found an old yearbook that I had written in... it says, "Perverts Make Better Lovers." Who knew that 20+ years ago I'd be so forward thinking?

Wow have you got a whole lot of growing up to do!!! I n my experience of observing peopne over the last six decades, I'd say that there were more men who are perverted in their own homes than there are women. Women are usually far more subtle than males especially as the young males who are over loaded with testosterone, ego and agression strut around shouting how big their tiny dick is and are not interested in learning what women want or how to perform and thus they miss the signals ..

I am probably 'kinky', but whether or not I am 'horny' sorta comes and goes. I'm sure not horny when I'm getting a cavity filled at the dentist or my mechanic is explaining how much my car repair bill is going to be. I'm horny more often now than I was in the past, but I'm not sure whether it's because I found D/s, my hormones are acting up, or I'm just more comfy in my own skin....probabaly all these reasons and more.

Asking who has a atronger sex drive, men or women, is kinda silly, donca think? Some men have very powerful drives, as do some women. Other people into BDSM are somewhat asexual, in that they have no drive/need to partner up with a lover and have hot wild screaming monkey sex

And yanno, some people who are not into BDSM have hot wild screaming monkey sex too. There's really not a hell of alot of correllation betwen BDSM and horniness, IMO.
