ORIGINAL: ThatDaveGuy69 I will be SO glad when Tuesday is over so we can be rid of Joe the Plumber, Reverend Wright, and all the other ancilary figures we can all do much better without ever hearing from again! It seems that Joe really should have kept his mouth shut and read the web sites of the 2 candidates. Not because Obama - or McCain - shouldn't be questioned, they should, ala the Inquisition! Joe should have stayed quiet because he seems to have a bunch of skeletons in his closet. He inserted himself onto the political landscape and we all know from a million past examples how people will turn on you. The press jumped on him because of the way Obama answered Joe's question. Once the press is on your trail you're pretty much screwed. And then it seems an Obama supporter with access to a state computer did a little digging and found all sorts of stuff. Public records not withstanding, she had no right to do that and should be disciplined by her employer. What this whole episode comes down to is politics as usual. Whether Joe was a McCain plant or just some schlub who got on camera, this sort of thing happens all the time to greater and lesser degrees. Let's got over it and move on. ~Dave Dave you know what? not asking enough questions is what got us in this mess! if the people would ask questions and learn about each candidate's background including their political careers there would be a simple and easy choice for each voter to make. the media & pundits are making money off of our laziness and lack of desire to do the research ourselves. therefore we are stuck with it until (hopefully) shortly after November 4th. Joe did what i did when i got the chance, ask a candidate a question. i met Sarah Palin 3 weeks ago and the first thing i did was ask her a question!
