Greedy, I avoided answering this early because I was a bit irritated, but now I will.
What would you tell me, (or any other poster here) who posted this question?
Hmmm?...
Take your own advice and get to a doctor on MONDAY!!

(((((hugs))))))

love you :)

I will get to a Dr as soon as possible.

Cali.. the jogging stuff?? *snort* yeah, as if....lol

caffeine intake varies between 1/2 litre to a litre, most days.\

no seam on the bra (I'm an A cup.. sheesh.. a seam would increase my cupsize 5 times lol)

The medical stuff I'll look into when I get to a Dr.

*adores you all for your advice*

XaviersXian -> RE: dumb question (11/1/2008 6:16:16 PM)

greetings to all,

hi GreedyTop,

It sounds very much like it's hormone related (though, I'm no doc, so get to one, asap!).  Take care of yourself!

well wishes,

CalifChick -> RE: dumb question (11/1/2008 6:19:57 PM)

I notice you denied the jogging, but stayed silent on the rough sex.  *cough*  ho  *cough*

Have you gained weight? If so the bra may be too tight.
Have you changed laundry detergent, fabric softener, soap, body lotion, etc? If you take a benedryl does the pain stop? If so, then I'd think a sensitivity issue would be the cause.
Perimenopause/hormonal changes would seem the most likely cause though.

I've been looking fo rmy dictionary to find out the definition of sex.. seems to me I used to know what it meant!

Des.. no on the weight gain, or laundry stuff.

I'm inclined to think it's probably perimenopausal stuff.. but I'll get to a Dr asap...

Maya2001 -> RE: dumb question (11/2/2008 8:38:06 AM)

Worst case senario  it is  cancer... and to improve your risk of beating cancer means detecting early .... you have already put  off going to have it checked out for 2 months

How much longer will it be before going will be convenient for you????

not trying to be rude at all .... but  the longer it left if this cancer  the more tissue that has to be removed in surgery because the margins will grow larger  and the lower your chances of beating it will be ..

GreedyTop -> RE: dumb question (11/2/2008 1:26:07 PM)

I know, Maya,,, *hug*

You know what, I have the same problem every now and then, I am not sure why, it's never both at once.  The doc says everything is fine, but once in a blue moon, one nipple will be sore and it will hurt.  I don't change my detergent ever, since Daddy is mildly allergic to all but what I use right now.  My weight doesn't fluctuate.  One just gets a little bitchy every now and again.  I found that Purelan from Medela works well until the wonky nipple decides not to be wonky anymore.  Where to get it, who knows I got it at the hospital after 5 of 5 was born.  But a pure lanolin cream should be easy to find.  Ouch, I'll bet this hurts, and I hope it gets better.  Stat.

thx mony!!

*snorts @ TC*

hiya doll :)

panthersub -> RE: dumb question (11/3/2008 11:46:24 AM)

Put lotion on it, try the Nivea for extra dry skin, as i had the same thing has happened to me, except mine was also a burning sensation. Made fun for my Dom when he decided to tweak them and pull them. Try that and it should work. As like you, i also went to my doctor and she wasn't sure what it as either. Best of luck on it

pixidustpet -> RE: dumb question (11/4/2008 3:21:05 AM)

the only thing i would add, greedy, is do you lean on your boobs?

the height difference between my chair and the table the laptop is on puts my nipples at table level if im not bra'd.  and it pinches unless i lift the girls up and set them on the table (ah, gravity, you suck so bad!)  when i forget, i get the owwies.  especially in the one that has the barbell.

oh to be young and thinner and be back in the days where gravity had not taken effect!  but no, i'm a short little apple shaped woman with slim legs and gravity challenged bewbies.  somehow i'm loved as i am, go figure....beats the hell outta me.  [8D]

Why wouldnt you be loved, sweetie??

Nope. I am not blessed with enough for there to be tabletop/boobage contact unless I am pretty much laying acrss the table..

Davan..

going to be trying to set up an appt for sometime next week :)

Aneirin -> RE: dumb question (11/4/2008 5:12:30 PM)

Could be an infection which leads to a cyst in which case the only advice is see a doctor, but try a cold compress when pain is bad.

GreedyTop -> RE: dumb question (11/4/2008 7:10:12 PM)

*smooch* Thx, darlin :)

lamortbleue -> RE: dumb question (11/6/2008 10:43:12 AM)

GreedyTop,

You mentioned earlier in the post that you are not in a financial position to get medical attention of this situation. I am unsure if this goes for the ER's in your area, but in Washington state they have financial aid. People rarely know there is such assistance to those in need of medical aid. If you feel the situation is presistant enough to be a medical emergency I would suggest you find out if your local Emergency hospital has financial aid, if you qualify you will either get reduced charges or completely free medical coverage for the visit.

Also, another thought, if you think it could be linked (and I pray to God that it isn't) to breast cancer contact your local YWCA and see if they have any programs that could assist you in the matter. Most YWCA do a lot more for the community then just Domestic violence help.

You are in my prayers Greedy and i wish you the best in your health.

panthersub -> RE: dumb question (11/6/2008 6:53:18 PM)

i had the same problem but realized that it was from it being really really dried out and it started to hurt real badly. i did go to the doctor, she didn't tell me anything besides maybe getting a mammogram. But my Dom suggested that i put the Nivea for extreme dry skin lotion on it. i have had no problems since i started using it.

GreedyTop -> RE: dumb question (11/7/2008 4:25:10 PM)

thanks, folks.. update: I have an appt. for next Friday morning at 930.

monywildcat -> RE: dumb question (11/7/2008 8:03:37 PM)

Woohoo!  At least you don't have to scootch to the end of the table for this particular problem.  [:)]  Hope things go well!
