A friend of mine that I deeply respect often lets the littles "decorate" him. He ends up with ribbons and stuff in his long hair, painted nails, really bad make up and such. But, you can betcha his slaves still respond to him.

If being silly is a part of who you are, find those that appreciate this side of you. Be you.

Here's a question for you, can a Sir/Master/Owner be too silly?
Does "serious" command more respect?

And if you do have a silly owner, by all means share a little bit of his/her silly side with the rest of us.

I get referred to as "silly Daddy" a lot! I have a girl, which tends to bring out my playful side which in turn brings out hers. I love when we can't stop laughing with and at each other. But yes, there is such a thing as too silly and that would be if you can never turn it off or if it interferes with your ability to be the dominant. If it's not an issue then don't make it one ;)

Amusing topic...

The Chinese Symbol tattooed on the back of my neck means silly... it's a core part of my personality...

A moto of life for me is "It's all about the smiles"... and smiles means exactly that... smiles... no hidden meaning or twisted message... it's all about the smiles...

I haven't had a Dom yet, but I can't get along with someone if they don't have a sense of humour. Any future Dom I have will have to be someone I can laugh with.

Go back and read your original post - being playful at times is part of who you are.  If your sub does not like that or cannot acccept that, then you have the wrong sub.

Huntertn -> RE: A Silly Sir (1/21/2009 9:52:32 AM)
