Many do.  I actually do not.  But I don't eat peanut butter, shell fish or coconut either.  *shrug*

One 'gritty' story... then I promise to STFU about them.

Hubby and I were on a business trip to Chicago and had breakfast at the Denny's restaurant next to our hotel.   Oddly enough, grits were on the menu.  My husband ordered them.  They arrived stone cold and sort 'congealed' into a hockey puck.  When the waitress came by to ask "Is everything ok?"  He said, "Now, I don't know how you Yankees eat grits, but back home we warm 'em up a touch."  The waitress was quite embarrassed and brought a fresh bowl of instant grits.  At least they were warm.

I absolutely love grits, especially cheesy grits. However they give me horrible indigestion which lasts for days, they're the only food that does that to me.

Back to panty washing...

Oh come on, Lady H.  PoliteSub, myself and the other Brit subs are still a bit tired after gaining and losing an empire.  It does take it out of a chap, you know.

Oh wow... I haven't had grits in ages. I used to eat grits and gravy a lot as a kid.

Mostly, I like grits at breakfast. With scrambled eggs and bits of sausage or bacon mixed in.

I get no thrill out of watching someone do my laundry.  It's a task that needs tending to that is all.

Ok.... So we need to teach British subs how to hand wash, line dry and fold our unmentionables... and how to make really good grits.   When I'm in the mood for them, I like them with butter and honey.  Yeah... I'm odd.  Even other southern people look at me strangely for that.

I'm not surprised, if that's how you like your Brits.

I prefer my Brits with an inflatable gag.  And their hands tied behind their back so that they can't type.

Ok... So if we combine my ideas with Venatrix's ... we get a Brit with an inflatable gag & hands tied behind his back, smeared down with butter and honey.  If we just stake him out near an ant hill... We could have a very interesting day... but who would wash our undies?

Well, we know damned well it wouldn't be PforH at the best of times.  Maybe we'll just have to invest in edible undies - they'll get washed a whole different way.

Good Idea, oh Lord!  (or... I guess that would be Lady.  My bad.)

I really need to wear my reading glasses.  I was wondering why you would need to gag and tie an inflatable Brit.
