That might explain away porn but what about prostitution? I don't have any figures but I'd wager that there are tremendously more prostitutes serving men than there are serving women. Men are, in my humble opinion, so vastly more horny than women, that I don't even think women can comprehend how horny we are (and vice versa, it amazes me how women can go a day or more without orgasm). I don't know how you women do it!

Hi Davan,
I understand. I did say (numerous times), I was working off of personal experience and not from a scientific study. Still, I'd wager I'm correct that men, at least Italian men (heh heh) are about 10,000 times hornier than any women I've ever met. Not that women aren't horny ... but the magnitude just pales in comparison in my opinion. Now, it might just be me :) but how many women do you know that think about sex about every fifteen seconds or so for their entire life (sleeping included)?

The reason it matters is it is my humble opinion that the extreme horniness of men is the creator and cause of the ingenuity in the bedroom, watersports being one of the things that are thought up. Again, I'm sure women do watersports, and I'm just as sure most men and most women don't do watersports, but, in the spirit of the original premise that men are more into it, my vote would be that men are so vastly more horny than women (by multiple orders of magnitude in my humble experiences) that this spawns creativity in the bedroom.

While necessity is the mother of invention, testosterone is the father of ertotic ingenuity! (attrib --> me)

I cannot agree that men are hornier than women.  A good porn movie, the sounds and all that will get me just as horny as the guy in bed with me.  I don't like going without and have often been considered very much like a man in my sexual desires and how much I want it.  When I look around this place... I see a lot of horny women and women who really like that aspect of bdsm, so I would venture to say that women can be just as horny and just as active as men.

As for prostitution... men are out there, but is that really proof that they are hornier?  I think not.  I think there are a lot of social and economical reasons for a lot of this.  I think there is a bigger picture to it all.

How about this?

He has been really good and you want to drop him deeply into submission.

Status: offline 		It's been touched on a little bit that for some women, it's difficult to pee at will. I think this may have a lot to do with the fact that men are conditioned from childhood to go in semi-public situations (urinals, in front of others) and women to keep it private (stalls).

Personally, I have kidney disease, so it's difficult for me to pee at all...but I'm awesome on roadtrips.

Also, I never realized it was so common for guys to pee on us in the shower...

Speaking as a declared nympho by many..."we" are everywhere...we just don't advertise it to the masses...except obviously me! ;)

Prostitution has always been geared more towards men then women...again...more advertising.  History has shown us that men will dominate women as vessels for their pleasure, regardless of the womans desire.  I'm not approving or disapproving of this practice...it just is what it is.  I know and have known MANY women of all backgrounds utilize male prostitutes...women using them are just more secretive.  Society as a whole frowns on women being in control of their sexual side...so sad...but change and enlightenment always takes time...I'm ever hopeful that it will happen sooner rather than later!

In regards to watersports, been there done that, doesn't "do" anything for me...but if it turns on my partner(s)...who am I to deny their pleasure?  Based on my experience, Men, more than women, love to mark their territories...it's just their primal instincts kickin in...and anything primal is absolutely lovely in my book of fun!

Prostitution is geared towards men because of simple market values. If a man wants sex, he has to hunt, hunt, hung, buy drinks, dinner, blah, blah. Then, if he's lucky, he might get sex. If a woman wants sex she says, "I want sex." and she gets sex. Why would she pay a man to boink her when all she has to do it ask him to do it?
