@ popeye, Actually, when I was an undergrad, I went to hear Maya Angelo speak. The moronic president (of the university) at the time had the audacity to introduce her as "Maya." Her retort was something to the effect of "You may call me Dr. Angelo, thank you." :) She wouldn't take any sh*t.

I would nominate Cornell West to head the Department of Education.

I will selflessly throw my name up for secretary of defense. I figure I've got to do at least slightly better than the last couple of idiots.
