Petruchio -> RE: What Is It With Women...? (1/5/2006 5:10:26 PM)

I supppose I'm philosophical. I understand your frustration, but women aren't like buying a Craftsman wrench in Sears. Yes, you form a bond with the wrench, you won't let any other guy (mis)use it, and you'll be together a lifetime. But it's only a WRENCH. Real women can be fussy and frustrating and ditzy and dopey and… (I sound like I'm naming dwarves here)… exactly mirror images of us guys: guys being neurotic, insecure, strutting, incommunicative, and sometimes bordering on brain damaged. I've often wanted to learn to surf, but I expect that if I ever try, I'll fall off the board a LOT. Indeed, there's a risk that I might never learn my legs on one. In any case, you're from DC, and any woman might fear that you could be (gasp!) a politician. How about this: 1. Craft your profile with a sense of humor. 2. Then reflect that humor on-line. 3. And when you fall of the surfboard, grin, and get up on the f'ing surboard again.
