Somebody's history is skewed.  He won, but while the overall voter turnout is a record, the ultimate percentage (which, due to population growth over time, is the only valid method of comparing past and present elections) is hardly noteworthy.  Reagan, Nixon, Eisenhower all had higher percentages of the popular vote.  Granted, those are Republican Presidents.....

He won.  It was not a blowout, nor was Bush's election illegitimate.  Gore fucked himself in Florida by dragging it before the courts and then getting out-lawyered (lesson to the Democrats: don't bring a knife to a gunfight).  Other, albeit Republican Presidents have won larger majorities, and more electoral votes.

Historic victory for many reasons, but neither the magnitude nor the legal quality of the victory number among them.

Maximizing profit is a corporation's "social responsibility".  It never has been, never will be, and never should be otherwise.



It has been, should be, and in some cases still is.

Their primary resposibility is to make a profit.

The idea that it is their only responsibility and the idea of maximizing profits at the expense of any social responsibilty gained ground with the "greed is good" philosophy of the late '80's.

Which gave us Enron, Tyco, Worldcom and a number of other shining examples.

It's out of this world that Obama won by such a large majority, but the perverse side of me kind of regrets it was done without cheating millions out of their votes. What a wonderful lesson this would have been for the Atwaterish branch of the GOP  .

Wake up.  Not only is Obama's eligibility to be POTUS highly suspect but so is his eligibility for a government security clearance.

Several ongoing law suits in various States are challenging whether or not Obama is in fact a natural born U.S. Citizen, which one MUST be to get into the Office of the Presidency according to the U.S. Constitution.  All of them are seeking to force Obama to profer the vault copy of his Hawaiian "Birth Certificate" (as opposed to the "Certification of Live Birth" posted on FactCheck.org) to the Court to prove he was in fact born in Hawaii, along with other official government documentation proving he was re-patriated as a U.S. Citizen after returning from Indonesia where he attended grade school.

Although no law suits are pending regarding Obama's eligibility for a government security clearance, which for some incredulous reason is not required by the U.S. Constitution in order to get into the Office of the Presidency, his long-time close associations with William Ayers et al (several of whom have been the FBI's high-risk watch list for decades) would prevent him from being cleared by the FBI for even the lowest government security clearance much less the highest.  It's absolutely incredulous that candidates for POTUS aren't automatically subjected to an FBI background investigation and required to be cleared by same PRIOR to being allowed to run for POTUS! 

Obama supporters are welcome to say what they will about the above. The bottom-line is that Obama could have easily and immediately ended any/all question/speculation about his citizenship by simply either posting the vault copy of his Hawaiian "Birth Certificate" on his web-site or, if he didn't want it exposed to that extent, proferring it to one/more of the Court(s) hearing the aforementioned law suits.  Adding question/speculation about Obama's citizenship is the fact that both Obama and the DNC have engaged in stalling tactics pertaining to each of the aforementioned law suits.

Try interviewing for any type of professional job, refuse to show the interviewer what Obama has refused to show his interviewers ("We the people..."), and see how long it takes the interviewer to tell you to get your ass out of their office and don't ever come back!

I revel in the thought of the 8 years of Obama, prosperity, and respect in the global community once again and they can eat their words.  of course, when they benefit from it? They will still bitch.

Status: offline 		Supreme Court Justice Souter has commanded a response from Obama/DNC not later than 12/1/2008.  Then Berg (Plaintiff) gets to react to that.  It may then be heard by the Supreme Court.  Until they rule or choose not to rule, the matter is unsettled.

Hawaii said:

"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures," Fukino said.

They have the original, but it does not indicate what that item is or says or that it is even from that state.  They do not refer to any facts or assertions it contains or anything beyond stating that they have it.  For Obama to have withheld it, even to the Supreme Court, does indicate his desire not to share it, as this is a usually mundane document commonly used, show and requested, that he refused is of interest and possibly of concern.  It could simply be embarassasing or politically sensitive such as the question of the father or as to religion, etc ...

Those of us who are not economists wonder how it is a Bush recession?  Was it also the Bush recovery and job creation for the first seven years?  What are the root causes of todays financial debacle.  Please explain your reasons for blaming today's problems on just Georgie.  ??

You copied and pasted this list, as is evident from the change of font, and it is clear that the original author lied and you believed it.

For instance the Harvard Law Review is a magazine with bylines. Simply doing a basic search of any number of online resources you could find all the artciles he wrote for the HLR or any other journal. Why the author thinks he has a Pakistani passport to put forward since it is a matter of public record that he never lived there is another odd detail.

All in all a pretty pathetic piece of agitprop.
