Yes, DomKens birth cert will state it is alive birth one(if he is indeed born after a certain year) and is different to Obamas, however this does not make Obamas in any way nefarious.

No, what makes it suspect; i.e. worthy of questioning is:

1) It is different than a birth certificate in the state he was born.
2) It shows that it was changed or amended from the original certificate of birth.
3) He does not want to show it any way. (They are taking great pains to not show the original.)
4) It is one of many documents that he will not show the American people.

I donated bone marrow to my mother so I'm pretty damn sure I'm blood related to her. Since my aunt breaks down in tears when she sees me since I look exactly like my father I'm pretty sure I'm his son too. My Birth Certificate includes the name of the hospital and my parents names and ages as well.

Just called my 3 brothers and all 3 born in 1954, 1957 and 1969 all have Alabama and Georgia birth certificates that say Certificate of Live Birth.

So You simply have no idea what you're talking about.

So your information would be valid for your states..... maybe. They certainly would not fit the majority for all states. And it certainly does not fit the standard for the state of Hawaii. For Hawaii, the certificate given at birth is called a Birth Certificate or Birth Record. There is also a "Late Birth Certificate" to certify those not born in a hospital, etc. But there is also a Certificate of Live Birth for when either of the previous two documents is amended or changed. Get the point?

I just called Hawaii dep of vital records. They don't issue anything called a Birth Certificate but do issue "Certification of Live Birth" Which is what is on PE Obama's document. They confirmed that this has been the standard title since the 1950's.

Stop believing right wing liars and do your own research!

Try again - he went about bragging that he would redistribute the wealth once elected, promising the little guy checks from the treasury.

McCain called him on that directly.

That might have something to do with a lot of the layoffs that we are getting hit with, too. Business is getting nervous, and understandably so.

I would say it's in free fall because nobody has any clue as to what exactly he is going to do once elected and everyone is holding their breath.

The same thing would be happening if McCain.

Musicmystery -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:14:00 PM)

OK, what the fuck, you're just right. The world is going to hell, it's all Obama's fault, and there's no hope.

We'll all remember that you warned us first as we die horrible deaths from starvation.

But there is no issue about it being 'altered'.  There is no issue about it being 'not original'.  They have shown the cert(which would be a live birth one due to his circumstances).  I don;t know where you have picked up these false bits and pieces.

His mother was american.  His father was kenyan but at the time it was under british government.  Its under the British Government Act.  Because he refused to swear allegance to kenya, he automatically reverts to american citizanship.  It's not that hard to comprehend why he has a live cert.

No, it is not in any way worthy of anything but a pathetic attempt to discredit the man.

The same kind of crap we had to listen to for eight years regarding Clinton.

If you want to attack Obama then attack him on the issues and his policies.  Not on this juvenile, crybaby horseshit.

Sanity -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:20:20 PM)

True, most of that time Obama was ahead in the polls.

I wonder if Obama is bothered by the fact that the stock market has been mostly in free fall ever since the day that he was declared the winner. I understand that the man has a huge ego, but you would think that this has to be giving him pause for thought.

Yeah, and it was in free fall for more than a month before that because they knew he was going to win.

That damn Obama is the cause of all of this.

Naga -> RE: The Obama Recession! (11/10/2008 4:20:34 PM)

We aren't allowed to attack him on his issues and policies. When we do, we either get the "head in the sand" approach by those wishing to deny them or we are called racist.

And the fact that his is not legally qualified to hold the office of the presidency is not horse shit, though I am sure you wish it was. And calling it that is simply a way of avoiding the subject and not dealing with the facts.

MadRabbit -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:22:46 PM)

I'm not a big fan of Obama's politics, but I don't think sourcing the stock market dropping to them is an argument grounded in reality since, from what I understand, the market gets a little funny during the election years anyways and even more funny during the gap between election and the new president taking office where there is a big unknown as to what exactly his new policies will be. Since we have a long track record of politicians giving lip service to everyone during election year and then dancing to another tune in office, the nail biting is pretty reasonable.

This phenomena is only heightened this year by the other financial issues that has turned the market into a college party girl blown out of her mind on coke and in need of a Valium to help come down and return things to normal.

So my opinion still stands...unless this entire country has started to believe that politicians mean what they say in election year, then we would see the same drop with McCain. It's caused by the gap of a shift in administration.

Sanity -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:23:54 PM)

This is exactly the sort of argument someone desperate might resort to if there are no facts on his side.

Don't you think if Republicans saw the slightest possibility of this, there'd be blood in the water?

But then you know best.

You even want to argue when we throw in the towel.

Seems you just want to argue.

Find a mirror. Give it hell.

MadRabbit -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:28:55 PM)

Anyone see the episode of South Park where the McCain/Palin supporters built the "Ark" on election night?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I just thought of that for some reason.

No idea why....

Sanity -> RE: The 'what' Recession? (11/10/2008 4:31:08 PM)

The market was headed up initially today on news of the massive Chinese stimulus plan, but that ended as soon as the talking heads began discussing the Obamas touring the White House.

Then it resumed its plunge.

We should hook him up with my father. Sounds like they could be best friends. Well as long as your dad doesn't try and swipe the pic of Bush, hanging in the dining room. He wouldn't do that, would he?

LOL- well he might. He's pretty hardcore.

Oh I have to tell you. I love razzing my Dad. He just takes this stuff WAY too seriously and I like to let him know in a gentle manner that I think he's full of shit.  So shortly after the last election I figured that depending on how we did in Iraq and whether people were still pro-war or not, the next election would go to a Dem.  Now my Dad REALLY hates Clinton and the only person he hates more than Bill is Hillary. So I told my Dad that Hillary was going to win the next election and it was all his fault. I told him he should have voted for Kerry in 2004 because if Kerry had won, in 2008 he would be the incumbent and Hillary couldn't run til 2012. By then we'd be sick of Dems and vote in a Republican. I told him he needs to think ahead about these things and he better get ready for President Hillary. Well he didn't think that was very funny, but I suspect he remembers that conversation now. I wonder if he'd prefer Hillary to Obama now? I haven't asked.

Who are "we".

Define that.

You assume that you're typing for everyone now?

Yeah.  Well, just like I didn't care about what Bill Clinton liked to flavor his cigars with, I really don't care about this non-issue.  There is absolutely no evidence to support what you are saying and plenty to contradict you.  Yet you plow ahead claiming lies and cover-ups.

I'm happy for you that you are able to enjoy yourself with this important issue.

Myself, I'm a little more worried about the economy, Iraq, and other silly nonsense like that.  But that's just me.  I focus on the trivial.

I was just trying to make a light-hearted joke.

You make a lot of good points, Sanity and I enjoy reading your posts. I am with you on a lot of issues. But for me, personally, my stance against Obama ended on election night.

You can source the current economic issues to Obama's presidency if you want. However, it's just a theory given that the market is such a complex, non-linear, and chaotic entity that predicting it and understanding it is on par with the weather. I don't agree with that theory and don't think it's a fair argument so I'm going to say something.
