I am sure someone could be stalked online, yet only if they allow it.
Giving out too much info in general is one way of allowing. Do not empower a stalker by responding at all. A delete button works wonders. Assume anyone you talk to is a nutcase until they give you equal respect and privacy in your personal and virtual life. Same goes for pictures, you take a chance if you post it, laws or no laws there is always someone who is crazy enough to use yours for good deeds or evil ones. Unless the person is a minor, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

I am so glad I found this thread. I was about to post some really sophomoric rant about how nasty some of the responses have been. Is it the ego thing that makes some people think they have the right to bind you and beat you and not have safe words or agreements? I just figure if it is my body I am putting on the block for you, I should have some amount of choice to select my abuser carefully. This site rocks. Thanks. I know my Master is out there...........
