Potty:  just don't condemn us who will not light up in a non smoker's house, we will not light up inside a non smoker's vehicle, we willingly stand outside in the rain and snow puffing on our ciggie, we are willing to refrain from smoking near a person who has allergies to cigarette smoke.

Yes there would be. As an ex smoker I can tell you that the lengths that some non smokers would go to was amazing. I did everything within my power to be a conscientious smoker. One time I was taking a minute to have a cigarette. I could have stood outside the doors of the building I was at...you know...by the ashtrays. But I chose to go sit by a tree that was at least 50 yards from the entrance to the building. A woman came strolling across the lawn toward me. I figured she must be a fellow smoker who was coming to join me. Nope....she came over to bitch at me about how I was polluting the atmosphere.

Trust me, there are a whole bunch of non smokers out there who do not care how far you go......they will not be happy until there are no more smoking materials allowed anywhere. Then they will find something else to bitch about.

I'm not THAT bad. Hell, does that same woman bitch to drivers about their exhaust pipe smoke polluting the air? Bitch probably drives a SUV!

Reminds me of an incident a few years ago when I visited my parental units during the holiday season. Both parents don't smoke and my mom quit 6 years ago. I always smoke outside and never in their car. This one day we went to the hardware store and arrived about 15 mins before the store opened up. I stepped out of the car to have a smoke and it was drizzling so my senile father informs me that I can smoke in the car because of the rain. I looked at him with a smirk and replied, "I damn well don't think so, I am NOT smoking in your car!"  He was a mite pissed because I threw his rules back in his face and he didn't like it and the fight was on!  Oh well.....
