I used to live in Chelsea in Manhattan and that is how I felt all the time. I worked in the Village and it was the same down there. Some of those gay men still would stir things in me that felt like me not having a penis might not be a problem but then again who was I ever kidding.

I dunno how to account for this..  My Domme girlfirends bitch about this all the time, and I've been kinda shocked to see men I once respected engaging in this sort of conduct.

when i've seen it, it's been firmly rooted in chauvenism. =p

I suspect that there are more men who believe this than those who are silly enouth to vocalize it at an function. Still there is always one in every crowd isn't there? They are just like there is always one individual who will rudely, agressively and oft abuseively state in your face tht he is having a good time and no one can stop him even though he has been asked not to do somethings (abusive language etc). he fails to understand that whilst we have the right to enjoy ourselves, we do not have the right to do so at the expense of others enjoyment. I am also oft suprised to find the odd bod who ignores that a slave is collared and tries to command her, turning a deaf ear to her explanation that she is owned and only her Master may coimmand her.. Perhaps he like the ones you refer to believe that they are the master of Masters and all will bow before them (Godlings perhaps)?

Sorry .. but once again .. this is not limited to male dominants. If male dominants or doing it, you can bet females are doing it too.

I personally had it happen to me twice at two different play parties in two different states, so I'm sure these two ladies did not know each other.

But I sure as hell think about it. I've met some (and perved some profiles) of intelligent, attractive ladies. What the hell kind of Dom would I be if I didn't want to take them. If it's really inside you, you've thought about it. I want to take and make mine attractive, intelligent women (lord help me if they have a wicked sense of humor.)

Ah , see the two are not mutually exclusive.  Its kind of like the difference between God and the Holy Spirit - different aspects of godhood. Therefore, Eric Claptons' penis is god, and so is every other males' penis, and dildos are god and damn, apparently i like to say penis.

any way - sometimes GOD does things that don't work out so well in the real world, and this topic is apparently one of them.

Status: offline 		    Perhaps one reason could be that many men , of any persuasion , are attracted to confident , self-assured women that are quite comfortable with their sexuality .  And many Dommes on here fit that bill in spades !   I never fault someone for trying - just say "no"  if it's not you're thing .   
 
     Another reason could be that we are complex beings ,but sometimes fall into our own label trap .  You may think you're one thing - and find out along the way that all kinds of other categories feel good as well !
