Aylee and i came up with this one, as i have some major embarrassing moments, while drunk. but fun as well

i woke up in the boston harbor on a yact "moon bathing".... needless to say the dock master asked the owner to please have me refrain from doing so on the weekends as their are families then. Well i had to see the dock master if i wanted to wash my clothes, or grab a quick mountain dew... i never did again....EVER
i was young then, today i would probably walk on in there
ive also poll danced in request from friends.....
owned a bar in iowa and danced on our bar many many nights (hey business picked up, especially when i went THUNK!) lol glad i was too drunk to noticed i about killed myself....

I've heard of that before.  A friend of mine, in his days of youth, collapsed up the stairs to the front porch and went to sleep there.  In the morning his mother started whapping him with a broom going "get in the house, dammit!"

Fell off a bicycle in Holland, tore my jeans at the knee, and put a gash in my knee.

A freind of mine decided that in order to keep me from getting into an accident and hurting myself, she'd drive me to her house so I could crash there....ok, so she was even more drunk than I was, but, well, ya know.......long story short, she ended up slamming MY hand in MY car door when I got my purse....split the fingertip wide open and fractured the finger.......so much for preventing injury!

The only hurt I've caused myself was that spent hovering over the porcelain throne.

Never hurt, but I did get lost for quite a while in the ladies at a nightclub in Newquay.

I cracked my head on the sink once.. I thought I had finished ridding myself of my stomach, so was starting to stand up... when I discovered I WASNT done, and in my rush to get back down....

I had a goose egg on my forehead for a week....

Being drunk is dangerous for me, as I have had blackout episodes and done things I regretted later.  Today I know my limits and stick with them, but in my twenties I had some pretty wild episodes:
  • When drunk, I tend to be loose-lipped and will tell anybody anything.  I remember a man I was dating reciting back to me things I would never tell anyone.  I asked him how he knew and he said I told him all of it while drunk.
  • I apparently agreed to move to Las Vegas and start a new life with a man I met at a bar one night.  When he called me the next day to start making arrangements, I didn't know what he was talking about.
  • Another time, I apparently accepted a marriage proposal from a stranger when drunk.  When the liquor wore off, I could not believe what I had done.  Not only did I not know the first thing about him, it turns out his divorce was not even final yet.
  • Got angry at an ex-boyfriend, stomped off, and went down to the lesbian bar down the street.  I met a woman who had just had a fight with her girlfriend.  She asked me to go away with her for the weekend to visit her family and I went!  Ex-boyfriend was beyond furious.

Today, if I drink at all, it is only wine and my limit is two glasses.  I am no longer willing to put myself and others in dangerous situations.  I consider myself very lucky that I was not seriously hurt or worse.

A close friend's son was killed by a drunk driver and that hit very close to home.

Hmm, I've never actually hurt myself while drinking, but I did afterwards trying to get out from under the troll I'd gone home with.  I'm fairly certain he ate my underwear, because I sacrificed precious minutes looking unsuccessfully for them before fleeing to the closest pay phone.
