Warming, freezing . . . they should make up their minds. I have read that it takes as little as 125 years for an ice age to start. We’re all gonna’ die huddled in some cave as the fire from the last piece of vegetation on our frozen planet burns out.

RS your missing some great deer hunting this year. They have such a big problem with them in Rochester that they are letting the police set up deer stands to hunt them at night. There has been a ton of road kill so far this year.
In Michigan, they had some places that were so thick with deer and the winter die off was so bad, they let hunters have 3 for 1 on the licenses.

Take it from experience, best way to see snow is in a nice warm theater watching it in a Christmas movie.

um... RS, I hate to tell you but about every 7-8 years Daytona has wickedly cold winters. One year it even snowed about an inch there. I'm going to guess that this will be one of those winters. Enjoy your Michigan memories. The good news is in late January, early February, it warms back up to where it should be.
This must be that year. I was here at this time last year and it didn’t seem this cold. In fact, as of Nov 15th, I have lived in Daytona Beach for a year.

I remember well one xmas in Miami Beach... we decided to drive on down to Key West to avoid the cold snap. Where there is no heat. Where we were on a waiting list for BLANKETS! LOL! Yeah, good times.
A lot of the homes (and hotels) in south Florida that were built in the 50s and 60s did not have heating units.
