Go to a site where drug activity is fair topic for conversation, it's probably going to be a TOS violation there to talk about tying a woman to a bed frame, torturing her for a while, and commiting acts of sodomy upon her... I have the same stance and think that move would be a good starting point. Evaluate the other drugs to see which ones actually cause harm to people. Those that don't get legalized. Those that do get labeled as poison and people caught selling them are trated as attempted murderers. We would need to differentiate between the short-term consequences and the long term consequences. Some of the after-effects show up months or years later. I am thinking specifically of LSD flashbacks and drug-induced psychosis. I have a friend whose body will never recover from the damage done by meth. That is a poison we should never treat as anything other than poison. Have I ever mentioned here how much I hate meth and heroin? 2 of my closest friends almost died from meth over-doses and I lost one college friend to heroin. I have numerous pothead friends who keep frito lay in business with the sheer magnitude of money they spend on cheetohs. Pot is good for the economy. Several of my friends are zoned out to the Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and video games most of the time. They spend way too much money at Taco Bell and McDonalds but have yet to pick a fight with anyone while stoned.
