ResidentSadist, you're right about one thing: I needed to read your response to me again, slowly, and see that your complaint about the "irresponsible" comment was directed at KnightofMists's post, not mine. I'll just comment on one issue: you argue that you know what a conclusion is, in the language of logic, but clearly, you don't. Your statements that “I have found spanking is pretty much universally sexually arousing” and “I can even spank most people into orgasmic bliss” are obviously conclusions based on inductive generalization. For crying out loud, it doesn't have to be a syllogism written in the form "if x, then y", for "y" to constitute a conclusion. And the "/you just been spanked" comment? Just go on believing that, if it makes you feel better.
