When it just friggin hurts more than I can handle, if I'm in a mood where I can't handle it and/or it's a punishment..then no I get no sexual arousal from it at all.

If I'm in a masochistic mood and it's done for pleasure then yes I get sexually aroused.

It just all depends.

I am pretty sure that if you do anything brutally enough it becomes painful.  I bet that if you were approached right and your man turned you on first, he could get you into a sexy spanking almost anytime.

There are primary and secondary sensations.  Primary sensations are the sensations you get from direct physical contact.  Secondary sensations are the sensations that come from your brain while it's interpreting the direct physical contact and why it is happening to you.  So when you are being spanked, the primary sensations are the sensations you get from the stimulation of your nerve endings--and that's what the OP is talking about.  However, there's something else going on that's crucial: your brain is saying to itself, Holy shit, I'm being spanked!  That's hot!  That's humiliating!  (Or whatever your brain happens to say to itself while you're being spanked; it varies from person to person.)

Both primary and secondary sensations are important (and they're inseparable from one another), but I believe the secondary ones are actually more powerful.

Yes, it counts.  Comparatively, taking all the spanking that occur, very few of them lead to orgasm.  As Lordandmaster points out, there are many secondary factors, emotional and otherwise.  It takes some time, skill and practice for both the spanker and the spankee to learn how to create orgasmic spankings.

Status: offline 		No, not every time, in the same way as clitoral stimulation is not 100% guaranteed. Personally, if i am not in the mood, my head is not in the right place due to emotional factors, or if other physical input to the brain is stronger then even the usually most effectively stimulating actions won't work.

I found it telling that the OP said to someone earlier that if their partner turned them on, i.e. sexually stimulated them first then a good spanking would work, when in fact all it would be doing is continuing stimulation already started by other means.

For some of us not every action works in the same stimulating fashion every time, it isn't an exact science!

There must be a similar nerve connection from my hand to my genitalia because it has a similar result for me as a spanker.
