I thought about this thread in the car yesterday (which seriously tells me I need a hobby, but anyway...) and it occurs to me that you want all these things like stability, but what you want is for everyone else to GIVE it to you.

What you need to do is put on the Big Girl Panties and make a damn decision for YOURSELF. If you don't want contact with him, stop having it! If you don't want to feel one inch tall around him, stay away from him and stop feeling like that! If you haven't slammed the door, slam it! It's time!
