You're right, I did neglect to answer this in my hurry this morning. My answer would be that if I built the box then I would've tested the box to ensure it works just as I would want it too.

If you trust in your Master beyond the beyond, then why would you think he would put something he values in harms way? People make mistake when they are careless. Do you think your Master would be careless with you?

In this instance the trust has everything to do with safety. Do you really believe your Master would put you in harms way? You, in this instance, have to trust that no, he won't. That when he puts this box in your little hands and says "Flip the switch" you won't be a twitching mass on the floor.
