He talks to me and explains what he really meant and I talk to him and explain what I understood. We fix the communication. If he tells you to change the oil in the car and you don't know how to do it, then no amount of beatings, essays on what a bad slave you are, etc will help. What will help is being taught how to do it. Punishment means we've both failed. We much prefer to fix things so we succeed. I recommend this approach enormously. However if you are being willfully disobedient, then you have bigger problems with your relationship than a cane or paddle will ever cure.

Fix what you spoiled. Apologize to who you offended. Live with my unhappiness for a while. There may be more real-world consequences of this. If you make a fool of us in public, I won't take you out there again. If you have to do the cleaning over because it wasn't done properly, then we won't have time to play before bedtime. Those are the natural consequences of your actions. But as I tell both of my guys, all you have to do to get your ass beaten is ask.

Everything is relative to the infraction. And, as others have echoed, the concept of a "favorite" runs contrary to how I view punishment in the first place.

Usually lashings without the subspace and/or isolation. There was a pretty severe time a long while back that I made her belly crawl across the carpet for about an hour, then take a hot shower and a alchohol rub. Standing with arms outstretched holding heavy books in each hand until she collapses in tears. My property does not misbehave very often anymore, as my punishments tend to be swift and severe. No offense or anything, but why would I enjoy punishing? It means that something is wrong somewhere. A behavior that I haven't corrected or some kind of miscommunication in My expectations. Why would anybody want that kind of thing? Wouldn't you rather play be for it's own sake and not because something is wrong? If I actually get to the point of punishing, I can promise you that it is not a good experience. It's not enjoyable for the boy, nor is it for Me. Ask Me instead about how much I enjoy sadist activities for fun. Then, we'll have something to talk about.

If I am having to punish enough to have a favorite form, there is something seriously wrong. As to play, well, that is a whole different story. I enjoy a wide & varied array of sadistic activities, especially, when I am being begged to perform them by a willing subject, who is clearly asking just because they know what pleases me. It really depends on my mood.

I really didn't mean it how I wrote it out in the title. I rephrased to better get what I was asking across. I am curious to learn the types of sadistic activities taken place from different parties. I agree I asked the question foolishly I realize. Thanks for all the replies regardless.

Well sadistic activities is easy- check any bdsm checklist or even the list of kinks on your profile here and you'll get tons of examples. A punishment/discipline dynamic is something involving a Ds authority transfer form of relationship, not really related to sadism at all except possibly occasionally looking similar to an outside observer. The people who use "punishment" as a synonym for "kinky play" tend to be labeled as casual players who don't really understand the orientation or workings of a Ds authority dynamic. Usually in a pejorative sense.

I detest punishing my slave... to the point where the last time it happened, I almost decided all the advantages of owning a girl weren't worth it to me. My favorite kind is none at all. The closest we have is that sometimes I like to chain her wrists then make her serve coffee or whatnot. I like watching her overcome the adversity. Other than that, I seem to be more interested in control than sadism.

Haha that is an interesting one indeed! And exactly what I mean't. Not things I for instance would like to enjoy when I've done something wrong, not the kinky fun part of it all. Even the catergories listed on the site each have a very broad insight depending on the person I've come to find out. Everyone here has different ideas on it all and I am just moseying on through and learning what I can. Thanks again for replies.

Fun for us is bondage and sex. He likes to get me to a place where I can't stop orgasming and I can't walk straight afterward. He's big on nipple torture but I can't take much. And I can't tolerate clothespins at all.
