Dearest S,

are you finished packing?
do you have any back up plans? i know this may sound like i am putting a damper on your visit it is not meant to be that way. as much as i felt for the ResidentSadist and as much as i trusted him before meeting him...i had back up plans...a few of them. will you be able to let us know how things are going while you are there?
and what Greedy said...have fun and enjoy!

may we all find our bliss.

Dearest B.

"you" know pretty well what I am going into and what is going to happen, but also that I am entirely ready for it *lol*

And yes, I do have back up plans and neither he nor myself want to waste our time with each other if we would not get on in person *lol*

Yes, I am in touch whilst I am there, (he does not has a cage ) he also knows that I am in touch with other people on here and is happy when I took advice in the past and doesn't mind that in the future either. He knows that in the past, when my discoveries about his level of his lifestyle challenged me (as even you well know *blush*), advice particular from other Masters helped me to continue to get my mindset right (particular RS gave me a very good statement today via email, which I truly adore - let him know please -) and ready for him.

Regarding my suitcase...am getting there...about 60% is done I suppose. RS told me already 4 days ago to go packing...and somehow I am not that fast in doing so at the moment...but am getting there

Ummm... may I add my voice to those urging caution?

Until you actually meet, one has no idea whether there is chemistry or not. It's far too easy for one's mind to take whatever input there is--pictures, voice, words on a screen--and make it into an image which can never, by definition, be the real person.

A friend once expressed the opinion that if someone had an interest in anyone they met over the Internet, they should arrange to meet as soon as possible. I didn't agree at first but have come to see the wisdom of his statement.

I do wish you all the best. Keep us posted.

P.S. Perosnal opinion only, but... IMHO, tats, piercings, brandings, and even collars are to celebrate the relationship you have created after you have some history in the bank.

Thanks Sunny. I do have the view myself to meet as soon as possible, but due to my studies I also have limitations on me when I am able to meet at the moment. I would have loved to meet in September as it was planned, but personal change of circumstances came in between. Nevertheless I think in our case it was beneficial that we had time to explore each other more and I am optimistic

But I will keep posted

warm smiles, S. i always pack as i am running out the door. i pack for weeks in my head and then throw everything in as i hit the door. some how i always get there and usually with way too many clothes. oh and shoes. (i sure could have used the boots today that are in my suitcase keeping Sir company)
that made my heart smile knowing Sir was able to help you. he read me that e-mail where he told you to get packing...i teased him about his natural ability to give orders.
my heart is with you dear S on this most exciting journey you are about to embark on.

Phoenix..TPE is a goal but rarely a destination instead it tends to be a lifelong journey. It does not happen over night or even during the first few years frankly. It take a long time for someone to give up autonomy, and each right taken will be a battle that happens over and over until it is safely yielded after He has proved he will handle it responsibly. You can find out more about TPE here http://www.powerotics.com/ and here http://soiuser.hyperchat.com/qain/hans.htm./ The term was coined by Stephen S Davis in the 90's to explain a level of slavery that was different from the normal BDSM relationship. Two of the best know practitioners of it are Hans Meijer and his slave Diny. I wish you great joy and success on your journey into TPE if that is what you seek. It is a journey both must be committed to to be successful. It is something I aspire to, but not being submissive by nature doubt I will ever achieve.

As for the rest..if you are going to remove the piercings before flying back..don't bother to have them done until you return. It takes longer than 4 weeks for them to heal completely and removing the bars or rings will allow them to close. It's like having your ears pierced..the jewelry has to stay in during healing. It may be possible to use an acrylic bar instead of surgical steel but the steel is best and it won't set off the alarms. The initial jewelry is small and unobtrusive usually.

My only advice is go slow and savor each moment as you get to know each other. No matter how much we talk onlone, or by phone, first meetings are a step back to step one and the building of trust. It may go faster becuase of the ground work already laid, but it is still a new beginning.

Good luck, Fly safe and land on your feet.

well, he wrote... (hope he doesn't mind to citate him...)

My only advice is that when you do submit, do not stop submitting.  With TPE, your choice to submit should be your last choice so make it wisely.

Even not really knowing him...it still gives me an imagination how he could say that...*lol*...particular those words "should be your last choice so make it wisely"...which makes me almost shivering...but yes, I really like that statement from him...seems to be a smart guy  and I am wondering if his word "wisely" followed his grin...

Regarding Suitcase, last time i somehow messed up my socks and truly had only two pair of socks...every time I went out I wanted to buy socks and every time I returned back I realised I had forgotten it again...

But this time, they are in there already

Here is now 5am, and in 90 minutes I am off to Uni...followed by returning back and continuing packing and tidying up...seems after no sleep tonight I wont get sleep tomorrow either...but well, the flight is long enough to sleep...at least if they don't wake me up for food again at exactly the wrong time when I am finally managing to sleep...

I got that impression already...ok, not in practice...but during stages of changing a bit my mindset *lol*

*phew* regarding piercing...thats not inspiring now...so that would mean I have to leave scared through the metal detector then and pray that it won't get off *bibber* But at my piercings in my ear I took them out too early and simply forced them through when I put them back...despite that I also had the thought in mind to take them out and when I am through the metal detector then to put them back again (at the toilet, not in public...) maybe you are right...and I might try the option to leave them in...will wait and see what I will decide next year...but thanks for that advice...and the link.

Regarding

it was not what I was aiming for originally...and also took lot of thinking off me in the past several month...followed by some challenges where I thought about if I want to continue with what seems will be expecting me or is it time to step out. I accept to go that path as I have several reasons why I think that TPE might be pretty good for me...it wasn't what I originally aimed for...but something which came accross now with him and I think that he might be great to move along on that path...well, can only test it in reality to find out

May I add my best wishes to you, Phoenix?  I had an online/phone off & on again relationship with His Evilness for over 2 years.  When we finally met, I thought it would just be for occasional play.  And then I looked into his eyes & I knew this would be oh so much more important than that.  3 weeks later, I was pierced & tattooed & I've never looked back.  As time goes on, we are working toward TPE and as time goes on, it just keeps getting better & better.  I'm excited for your embarking on this journey & wish you well.

I would have loved to go to greedys wedding...but with a high likelyhood to relocate my bills for that would be sky high and it just doesnt fit into it yet sadly...after all I am currently studying and in this year I don't have time anymore to work up to 65 hours in 5 remaining days off as I used to in my first year, as I have only 3 days off per week now...and have still to ensure to be fit when I am on placement, so can't do my naps there as I can do in lectures...also I think I would be too shy to meet RS in person  his aura is just too strong for me and after his comment I would feel like being reminded that "if" I would have submitted to my upcomming meeting by then that I don't have choices left anymore....with just seeing him *lol* as I said in your threat...you were brave to meet him *bowmyheaddowntomytoesoutofrespect."

May I add my voice to the chorus which are saying go for it?

I'm in a similar situation waiting for a domme inbound from the north eastern corner of Poland which is the culmination of an on off online offline three and a half year friendship and the basis of a solid relationship was always there but neither of us ever really paid much attention to it or really gave it a chance until just over a month ago when she got back in touch.

Okay so online isn't the same as offline (this will be my third or fourth international LDR, fate I guess) but you know if you acknowledge the differences and are prepared to work with them then there's no reason why it can't work out with any less certainty than from someone you meet in your local area. More to the point, which I feel some people forget, you haven't been spending all this time online and you're not travelling out to meet just anyone, but someone with whom you have worked to develop a special bond and caused you to make those decisions to relocate. It's a totally different mindset.

It's entirely possible to jump right on in there with both feet provided you have realistic expectations, you communicate well and you are willing to correct things as you go.

You only live once, some of the opportunities you get don't come back, and you have to take risks if you really want to get anywhere in life or in a relationship.

I say give it your best shot and go for it.

Best wishes.

-=Noteworthy Things about Love, Relationships & TPE=-
Here is a small collection of philosophy about relationships I have felt strongly enough about to keep copies of.   If any fraction of this serves your well, it will have been worth the read.  Good luck & best wishes with your journey into internal enslavement.

Sincerely,
Kalon Eric

Love, surrender & service

How to begin a successful power exchange

Be accountable for your choice to surrender

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-=HOW TO SUCCEED AT TPE=-
To me, successful TPE (Total Power Exchange) requires complete trust and commitment.  It has to run both ways or neither will gain it.  You must commit to both your role in the relationship and each other.  If you are not committed to exchanging all physical, mental and emotional dynamics, then it isn't a total exchange is it?
A romantic TPE requires the exchange to include the heart, mind, body and soul.  Mutual trust requires mutual exposure.  Exposure is vulnerability.  Vulnerability proves trust which inspires love.  Love makes surrender and control possible.  If you are to succeed at a 100% power exchange, there is no room for secrets or privacy on either part under any pretense.  My power to control comes from completely exposing who I am, not from false invulnerability created by guarding my exposure to you.
