personally, i think it would be very unwise for any person, whether they are Dominant or not, that they will not take any sub or slaves opinions/gifts/talents into consideration. i'm not sure if your question was geared in this direction or not, but i think every person has strengths and skills, things they excell at, just as every person has weakness's, no matter how you identify yourself. to me a Dom, is the person who should be able to recognize those in thier submissive so they can help the person flourish in that area, and even help the Dominant in that area. to me, the fool is the one who notices the strengths and ignores them out of pride and ignorance... for example, if there was a D/s couple, and the sub/slave happened to be an accountant, to me why not allow that person to use that talent and skill to manage the books... doesn't mean they are topping from the bottom or being any else submissive, nor does it mean the Dominant is giving up His control, more that He or She is wise for utilizing the submissives gifts and talents...but that is my opinion *edited because people reply too fast dang it
