my name is Kristal  its a fairly common name but the spelling's not ( mom had to go and be different)  middle name is Annette dunno where she got that from.. as from what i know no one in my family has that middle name...

Steel = Daniel - Not Dan, Not Danny, Not Dan'l
Andi = Andi although her real name is Andrea (Which I prefer but she really hates)

Steel was SUPPOSED to be Alexander but my mom and dad faught up until I was born and I was named after the Elton John Song.

Andi was going to be named after the French Painter Monet but her parents faught and it became her middle name.

Not sure how old your mom is but, possibly the Mickey Mouse Club from the late 50's/early 60's?  Annette Funicello....who later starred with Frankie Avalon in all those lame beach blanket movies?  It wasn't all that uncommon of a name back then.

brenda or brendalee at work and to those close to me. lee is a family middle name. my grandmother and father both had lee for a middle name.years ago, i was seeing a man with the last name Lee...always made me giggle thinking that i might have ended up brenda lee Lee.

I hate my first name, Tanja.  It has a pretty meaning, but very few people can get the pronunciation correct, so I just agree with whatever I am called.  My middle name is pretty common among men, especially a certain Dallas Cowboy.  Daddy wanted to name me TommieJane Edwina (ick!), Shirley (after Shirley Muldowney) Christine, or Monte Carlo Mildred.  My parents have no sense whatsoever -shakes head-
