Merry Christmas!  I was so moved, entertained, touched and motivated by the responses to the 'oh goody it's Christmas' post that I wanted to reply to every single post.  I decided to do a followup post instead.  Let us know how your Christmas celebrations, or lack thereof, turned out?

I didn't have enough time to share with My beloved manthing, but I cherished the time we had together.  There's nothing quite like a naked sub in the colorful light of a Christmas tree!  It was a tiny tree but a happy little tree.  manthing you be sure to plant it for Me won't you?  And no, you can't cut it for a tree next season.  Let it grow.  Silly thing.

I was so blase about Christmas that I decided to mix things up this year.  I was tired of turkey so for the first time Christmas dinner was a crown rib roast: not a turkey nor a ham anywhere in sight!  Delicious. 

Presents given to loved ones this year were moderate but the kind of present a person will use everyday, if anyone doesn't like what I gave them I'll just blame it on the economy. 

Gifts that I received this year are cherished treasures and gifts from the heart.  Thank you manthing for making Christmas such a joy this year!  Next year- with a new job- we'll have more time.  I promise.

After all was said and done, I sat down and paid bills today and everything is covered with a few dimes to spare.

All in all, a very good year.

Hope yours was Blessed.

Now then, I'm ready for that trip to a white sandy beach on an Island off the coast of Honduras............who wants to come with?

We had our holiday on the beach, and it was lovely.  The weather was variable, but no big problem for me.  Just listening to the waves come sweeping in was magical!  Xmas even dinner really was the setup of my dreams---we visited with one of my friend/colleagues and his family, and had pizza and cheesecake for dinner!  The lady of the house fell and broke her hip two months ago, so we said Hey!  Everything's Under Control.  It was amazing to be able to finally spend a holiday with people I truly like and care about instead of my very large extended family.   (Yes, that sounds evil.)

Can we bring Sunshinemiss with us to Honduras?  I'll need a translator...

We had a very relaxing day. I made pizza for lunch, he made chili for dinner. We had a lot of smiles, we watched some TV, played some video games, and just had plain old fun. No rush, no work, no problems. It was a good day.

I'm glad you did the follow up post.  I've been thinking of starting one Myself.

How did it turn out?  Pretty damn good.  With MisterP getting home just a week before, I was really more focused on that than Christmas.  At his request, we waited to do the tree until he got back.  It wasn't the first item on the agenda, per se.  (If you can't read behind the lines on that one, your mind isn't in the right place.)  Yes, we did decorate on time, though much later than usual. 

I can't say when it began, but one by one, things started falling into place.  A last minute decision came through that I was getting the holiday week off from work.  This was great news to Me, since MisterP will only be home for a month.  Then, on Christmas Eve, I got a call saying I was going to get to see My favorite little person on the entire planet after all!  So, immediately after dinner, we went last minute shopping.  During the trip out, I wanted to stop by and see a dear friend of Mine, who with bad luck having it, is going through a personal issue that was the same as I had a couple of months back.  I took her a small gift and the visit meant so much to her that it did My heart so much good.  By chance, MisterP got to meet the switch that I've spoken to him so much about.  A very good thing.

Visit over and toys brought home, I set to wrapping and baking the cookies for the next day.  I got to talk with clip and hear how well he was doing.  MisterP was so tired that we opened our traditional Christmas Eve gift, then I sent him to bed while I finished wrapping and baking.

I got done just before midnight.  As I was turning out lights and going to bed Myself, I looked at our tree, and knew that all was right in My world.

The day was wonderful and all I had hoped for.  MisterP picked Me out a wonderful gift.  A ring with three diamonds linked together.  It looks beautiful.  My favorite little person was a true delight.  The turkey was great.  (I can cook, I just like subs who do it for Me.  lol)  Happiness and peace reigned.  I only had to stop one arguement, which was better than I expected due to the circumstances.  I talked with clip again and there are hopes for a visit in January that he is working towards.  MisterP is now fast asleep, and I'm sure I won't be far behind.

IT was good my sister in law was kind of a bitch there for a moment during the day and I got pissy with her then everything else went smoothly. She got me the cutest teddy bear and my nieces loved their presents, and I had 4 lil cups of this tasty little liquor I believe is amaretto  while we were at my brothers, and my dad says he's got a huge bottle of it andI can have it all!

What I am REALLY hoping for is that michaels will have a huge 50 or 60 or 70 percent off coupon on the total purchase or on one item and I can go get some more wood doll tables for dirt cheap, instead of the 15 dollars the normally cost.

Very quiet day. The dude that lives here at the farm spent most of the day in CR with his family, so it was just me and the fur babies.

I did a bunch of cooking to get ready for the family gathering on Saturday. Made a big pan of meat sauce then a huge pan of lasagna with part of it. I also made a cheesecake. Then cleaned the kitchen.

Spent some time on the phone, visiting with different family members.

Worked on a photo project.

Went downstairs and whipped my ass in the gym, then hit the shower.

Also spent a fair amount of time here on the sofa, messing around online.

Pretty damn excellent.

Mistress was thrilled with her gift, as I predicted (a collection Howard's Conan tales with artwork and an afterword by H.P. Lovecraft), and I loved her adorable present (philosopher finger-puppets! I'm going to annoy everyone at Philosophy Club by speaking through my Nietzche puppet. Gotta brush up my German accent). There was also delicious ham and movies and Babylon 5. Oh, and lots of kinky sex.

All in all, the best Christmas ever. ^__^

All in all it's been a real humdinger, but here's my dilema.

Santa's still locked in the closet and I've run out of
cookies and milk. Seems without such he's just one
big, fat, angry son of a bitch. Well excuuuuuuse me
and the elves at Keebler for falling short of what
appears to be a bottomless, voracious appetite for
anything that crumbles.

Speaking of elves, I hear they're organizing a search
and rescue armed with those paddleball thingamajigs
and a well assembled battering ram made of legos.
Pesky little creatures I must say. Probably has more
to do with all those Union benefits they've managed
to suck out of the Clauses the past few years than
for the jolly old Nickster himself.

And those reindeer. Geesus, talk about flying fertilizer
factories. Not to mention the constant "clack", "clack",
"clack" of antlers sounding out the rhythm of each and
every Christmas Carol ever written. On Dasher, on
Dancer, on Prancer and Vixen, on and on and on.
Rib Roast anyone? I didn't say that, I never said that.

Long story short, I simply wanted to get a jump start
on Christmas for next year. And who better than the
big guy himself when one wishes to make a list and
check it twice. But I may have screwed this one up,
(hey, not talking about the reindeer here anymore,
minds out of the butter, always looking for the kink)
soooooo any advice on how to end this peacefully
and still salvage my "naughty but nice" reputation
would be greatly appreciated.

Please hurry, I'm outta cookie dough, nothings open,
and Santa's demands for Ho-Ho's is growing stronger.

My Christmas was womderful and by now you all know that i received the best gift of all as i am now in training.How can it get any better other than being with Mistress herself??

Quiet day.  The UMs and the family called to say Merry Christmas and check to see if I was lonely (nope!).  Opened the dog's Xmas presents with him.  He won't lie on the dogbed (grrrrrrrrrrrr) but he loved playing fetch with his yarn bone.  We played a few times during the day, whenever he went to the door - cue - I want to play.  Walked to the beach let him play in the sand for a bit.  Went to the movies by Myself. Saw Seven Pounds and Gran Torino.  Liked them both and now I'm home having some tea with orange and sultana crispy slices.

A lovely quiet day. Master and I decided not to do pressies for each other this year, as We will be downsizing when the house sells and We buy Our 5th wheeler RV, more "stuff" didn't seem to be a good idea! But He started the day off in a very merry way with some morning wood, and the cards We exchanged were beautiful with some very meaningful words. Crumpets for brekky (well I had to pull them out of the freezer to make room for the homemade icecream to freeze), and being hot here in Oz, We had cold chicken, ham and salads for lunch, all very easy. Homemade honeycomb icecreams to follow then grazed the rest of the day on chips and dips, mince pies and christmas pud. One of the greatest treats was for Me to put on a CD received from a friend and sit with My feet up and listen to the whole hour without doing a single other thing ... no multitasking! It was lovely, and I had Teddy the companion dog on My chair to keep Me company. And then My lovely sub boy gave Me a phone call in the evening when he had got home from flying, hard that he's all across the country, but lovely to have a nice long chat. Though his work robbed Us of one of the 2 days We'd planned when I was in Perth recently, the day We had was awesome and I know he has a lot of potential. So his call was a good part of Christmas. Finished the day by finishing off a couple of the handmade presents I have been working on for people this year ... though I'm never stuffing glass baubles with photos and tinsel ever again! Seemed like a good idea at the time!

Hope all the other Collarme'ers had a lovely Christmas and wishing all a wonderful New Year to come!

We had such a lovely day.  Spent the morning sitting by the fire, watching as our little dog Georgie ripped open all her gifts,  discarded them and played with the wrapping instead.    Carols playing on the stereo. 
In the evening,   we had friends over and spent the last few hours of Christmas day singing,  laughing and enjoying an Irish coffee or two.   The perfect day.

Yes, I've been in a similar situation before (with a certain egg-carrying rabbit)... You're gonna have to do the fat man in... then call a cleaner... Get ahold of me... I know people.

my Christmas was ok.

my pet couldn't fly in because of crappy weather hovering around Chicago - days of snow, ice, freezing rain et al had grounded him in Denver ...so there was no kisses under the mistletoe however he did call to wish me a "Merry Christmas".

i did my annual "Christmas Eve with mom and Christmas Day with dad" dinners. i have to agree with my oldest daughter - it did feel weird having dinner with them now. i could actually feel the tension between my mother and my daughter ...it'll be awhile before we're feeling like a family again.

We had a fabulous day!  I didn't have to do all the cooking, nor the cleaning!  Had lots of lovely helpers doing things so I was actually able to kick back and relax and enjoy the day.  I only cooked exactly what I wanted to cook--- toll house cookies!  Had lots of family and friends over, we ate, all pitched in to clean up and I sent the leftovers off with everyone else!  Except the ham  My man makes the very best ham ever and we are pretty greedy with any leftovers there may be.

Today my man and I are heading out to a play weekend.......... mmmm... fun times!
