Op...Without reading all the replies...one name a Master likes to call the person who belongs to him is My lady...which is very nice and appropriate...

How about calling her by her name and addressing her in company as mine when introductions are in order? You have no bar to jump over nor finish line to race to. yes i'm allowed to pick pet names for myself though Daddy knows what names rings my bell and what will get on my nerves.

i don't get bent out of shape if He doesn't use the many preferred names ...i get bent out of shape if He uses a word i don't like.

oh yes - i'm allowed to get bent out of shape too.

When discussing the terms of the arrangement you guys didn't discuss how one should refer to the other?

If you have an open dialogue with her you should be asking her not us. It is apparent the subject has come up since she does not want to be defined as a slave. Which, coincidently, means you cannot be a Master.

She may want you to humiliate her by calling her your cum guzzling, worthless, dirty slut or perhaps she would only want you to call her pet or kitten.

My advice would be to find something that works for both of you. Maybe have a list of acceptable names that mean something different depending on the situation.

Well I certainly opened a can of worms with this one didn't I? I just wanted to thank all of you for the great advice it has helped. Just to clear a few things up, My sub and I have discussed this issue and to us it's not really BIG deal but just to let you know I have settled the issue. Thanks for all the advice.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're implying that being called a slave is a bad thing. Many would argue with that statement.
