Newly created deal breakers

Addicts
No job
Needs looking after
Stupid

(yup been out with all of them)

Long standing deal breakers
Dishonesty
Still in love with ex's
No sense of humour

Look; you know I'm going to work on the addiction thing. Soon. I'm just not quite ready for that step this year.

And sheesh - did you have to make the other little niggles so public? I don't find that amusing at all.

When he says, "No forced play with other women?  I can cure you of that.  It is a fear.. da da da.."
That guy may look like Brad Pitt one moment, but the minute he says that.. my eyes start looking around and finding Jack Black handsome.

Missokyst -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 5:27:36 PM)

Ya know.. I keep seeing these listed as deal breakers..
But from my point of view, they would be dismissed right out of the gate.  LOL it wouldn't even reach deal breaking.
Guess I must be snobbier than I thought.

My dealbreaker list may seem harsh, but hey....you "gotta do what you gotta do"

Liars
Addictions (drugs, alcohol or gambling)
Prison record
Horrible relationship with their offspring (get a court order for supervised visitation and pay child support)

Poor hygiene
Unable to accept "me"
Rude/mean spirited
Lack motivation
No sense of humor
As Michigan's economy is in the toilet, if they've recently lost their job, they need to actively seek some form of employment, go back to school and if possible, relocate.

Wow!!  Thanks for starting this post Luscious!  This has helped me appreciate my relationship that much more.  [:D]

Missokyst, sometimes these can be hidden issues.  You know, put your best foot forward and all that jazz.  I've been blindsided twice and also fell for the "hard luck" story.  D'oh!!

Other deal breakers for me are:

Emotionally unavailable.
Boring and non-creative sexually.
Penny-pinching cheap bastards.

Drug/alcohol abuse or addiction.
Lacking in passion and intensity.
Mental disorders.
I think you may be dating some of my exes.[&:] Sorry to hear, M

YourhandMyAss -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/7/2009 11:03:40 PM)

Well if he was just to lazy a slob to get his own place I'd agree, but my partner lived with his mom well into adult hood, and it was because she needed him to care for her. And even now at 37,David Daddies  brother jokes he*Daddy* and his mom should get an apartment, So that the mom is not Davids problem any more since David has washed his hands of his mom living with him and his wife.

So I wouldn't call it a deal breaker cause he still lived at home,I'd call it a deal breaker cause someone who's the soul care taker of someone else, won't be likely to have the time and energy I am looking for in my relationships.

Yanno Ray, after reading all the deal breakers with the women here, I have come to one conclusion: I'd be in one hell of a dilemma if I was bi! Either way I'd still be single....sigh!
